Bright Corner Suite with Room to Breathe

This was the most spacious suite I’ve stayed in at a Thompson. The separate seating area was a great bonus, and the bedding—crisp, clean, and super comfortable—really stood out. I loved the variety of lighting throughout the room, the large windows, and the quiet corner location. The only thing missing was a mini fridge, which would’ve made it… Read more

Great service. Demarcus and Meekesh was cool. Standing. Would not change a thing. Trying to tip online but they require 100 words at least. So I have to keep going until. Reach the mark.

Nice hotel in a very cool clean area of DC surrounded by lots of cool eateries and bars. A short walk from the Ball Park, Metro and very close to the river which seemed to have lived music every night. Lots of people out walking. Hotel is decent, we didn’t really speak to anyone but it’s a relatively busy hotel with a cool rooftop bar. Easy to catch Ubers from. Staff are friendly rooms are nice and the bed was comfy. Overall very good but not as good as Thompson Seattle that we stayed at last year. I rented a car the first night and was lucky enough to park on the street for free. In the morning when I went to get my car every car infront of me had been broken into… not sure if that’s common for the area but may allude to what goes on late at night outside? My car was fine though. Read less

Great staff made this a memorable stay. All the staff were wonderful but special shout out to Ezekiel, the restaurant manager, Efrem at the front desk and Million at the door. Was a bit apprehensive since we always stay downtown DC but this area is a real escape and short Metro ride to everywhere downtown you want to go...and Metro stop is only 3 blocks away. We plan on returning for another stay, Read less

We will not bring our children back to this hotel. We stayed here to go to a Nationals game but found out the hotel turns into a nightclub after dinner and hotel guests are treated like an after thought on the weekends. I couldn’t go up to the rooftop “bar” two nights in a row because it was booming with loud music and was filled with people dancing and taking shots before the sun even set. I was told by a staff member that a 8 year old was caught drinking there recently. I tried to raise my concerns I was treated like all I wanted was compensation. This is unacceptable for a property that really is beautiful. Hyatt should work hard to ensure this property is kept to higher standards. Read less
