We had a great experience at this hotel. The place looks beautiful overall—clean and well-maintained. Geo and Rafika were especially helpful and made our *early* check-in (thanks so much!) smooth and welcoming. The lobby is spacious and has a cozy feel to it. Our room was just as impressive—very roomy and clean. The bathroom was large and had a nice big vanity mirror which we loved. There was also another mirror inside the room, although the lighting around it could be better (for make up!) The TV worked perfectly and even had Disney+, which was a nice bonus for relaxing at night. My little sister enjoyed watching. A couple of small cons: there aren’t many restaurants nearby that stay open late, and we were surprised there was no complimentary bottled water provided. Still, overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend! Read less

Hotel room was great. People that choose to book here should be aware that this hotel charges an additional $35/night historical preservation fee that was not announced during my booking process on the citi travel portal. If I'd known my stay was going to cost an additional 20+%, I would have stayed elsewhere.

The housekeeping and front desk staff are on their A-Game! The Standout was Mel! She works the front desk overnights! She’s knowledgeable, kind, and a genuine person!

Everything was great. We will definitely return here next time we’re in DC. One of the best things is the location, on the border of a Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. Spaciousness of room made a difference as our stay was over four days. Highlight was talking with Geo, at the front desk!
