Amazing staff. They were so helpful and kind. Location is great too. Close to great restaurants and the Metro. And did I mention the staff? Incredible! I travel a lot for work, and this is my first choice for a hotel because I can get anywhere quickly and also enjoy everything DC has to offer

While the location and the physical property are nice, I was furious when at check-in I was told that there was a $28/day "resort fee." For what?. This is not a resort! There are no amenities! While the location and the physical property are nice, I was furious when at check-in I was told that there was a $28/day "resort fee." For what?. This is not a resort! There are no amenities! (ok, so there is a roof top bar but it was still closed for the season). To make matters worse, I was then told that the $28 fee could be used as a credit at any restaurant in the hotel. I had breakfast at the hotel, but later when I looked at my bill, I had not been credited. I have been trying to contact the hotel about this, but I only get voice mail. Really enjoyed this hotel. Some other reviews said it was dated but they must have done a complete overhaul lately because everything was fresh and new looking. Nice lobby and cafe spaces for hanging out and getting coffee or whatever. Good gym and great staff. I only would have liked some better pillows, but that’s true in almost every hotel.

Central location made it easy to get around. Staff including reception, restaurant and housekeeping were very friendly and responsive. Only minor consideration is the rooms are slightly dated and would benefit from a refresh. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for your DC trip.
