Next to the metro station is Pentagon City Mall and lots of shopping and food options. And it was really nice having a WholeFoods a block from the hotel. Every hotel staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. Parking was really convenient - expensive but convenient. I read another review that said the parking garage was full when they arrived, so I arrived early and had no trouble with parking. This hotel was great! I appreciated the water bottles and warm cookie I received upon arrival. That cookie was delicious! I would have given a 5 star review but the room had some dust floating around and the bathroom is small. Otherwise this was a great stay and I'd book this hotel again. Read less

Stayed at this location for one night to make catching a flight at National easier. Overall it was ok--main benefits are its proximity to the airport and Pentagon City. Rooms: There is a special place for hotel architects who design bathrooms where you have to close the door to use a toilet--not for privacy, but because you literally can't use the toilet if the door is open unless you want to gash the hell out of your shins. That popcorn ceiling: have you had it tested for asbestos? Beds: need replacing--there is a definite slope developing due to age. Please for the love of the 21st century, stop with the power strips and install some USB chargers--no one wants that 1985 alarm clock. Desk staff: kind folks who handed out some bottled water on check-in (no cookies though). Shuttle staff: this was probably the worst aspect of my experience. I waited for 15 minutes for the shuttle, then had to dash into the airport to use the restroom. Returning less than five minutes later, I saw the shuttle waiting at the stop and the driver loading in luggage. Despite running, and yelling, the shuttle driver never once looked back to see if anyone was coming, got back in, and pulled away. Another 20 minutes, and a new shuttle appeared--the driver did not ask if anyone was going to Embassy Suites, and as a result, we made stop there no one needed. On arrival at the hotel, there was a pitch for tips. Hilton: please just pay your employees a living wage. I have never seen so many QR codes encouraging customers to tip anywhere. On the shuttle. In the rooms. Paris has enough laptops. Read less

I was in the lobby of the hotel and spoke with Ayanna and she was so helpful with everything. She even informed me about my upcoming trip to Vegas and I’m looking forward to purchasing with her this weekend.

Absolutely incredible staff—thank you to the especially welcoming and wonderful front desk team of Denise and Heisy for accommodating our slight early arrival and helping us to sign up for Hilton Honors (free rewards program) to get an incredible view of the capital and most beautiful room! Thank you to Gigi at front desk and to Muhammad who sent and came with the replacement iron very quickly—really appreciated it. Truly a wonderful way to get in to a new city after a tiring flight. Definitely try to find the shuffle tracking website so you can plan getting to and from the airport. Heisy told us the closest routes to bus/train stations. Truly beautiful view of major DC sites right from the room. Denise set us up for success and loyalty as young travelers with when we signed up for Hilton Honors (free and as of 06/2025 a lil gift of cookies and water). Honestly can be very stressful with a packed flight and airport and adjusting to a new environment for me. The staff went above and beyond and were so incredibly helpful and friendly and kind. These folks deserve a raise and a level up! Really wish that more experiences while traveling were like this! Glad we stayed here for conference and for visiting the capital. Read less

My stay was good, the only thing I wished my room had was a microwave. The room was nice and the staff was friendly. The food is pricey, but that's expected since it's at a hotel. If this hotel had free hot breakfast I would give it 5 stars.
