simply, we could not find any hitch from arrival to departure The attention and caring where is superlative breakfast was exceptional room service was perfect and obviously location was great

In addition, the water did go from cold to boiling hot in an instant so be careful. When I asked about early check-in (I mentioned I was traveling with my autistic child) - they said it would be $89 or $90 even if the room is available. We finally tried checking in 1٫5 hours early and they didn’t end up charging us. The Riu Plaza is a lovely hotel. It is very clean and the food options are amazing, The customer service is also excellent - i.e. whenever we needed something, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. Honestly, we could not fault them and for this reason, would recommend the Riu Plaza to anyone seeking to visit New York.

Awful front desk staff and deceptive marketing. Charged me over $500/night for a room with a king size bed then gave me a room with a full claiming it’s a “New York king size”. Multiple front desk staff were rude and dismissive. Will never stay at another Riu hotel after this experience.

A great hotel, perfect location and helpful staff. Was ideal for what we needed, easy to get around, will be back
