Maria and all the staff were friendly. The hotel is big and bright as one enters it. My single room was dark even in sunny broad daylight, so one had to keep the lights on, and it was cold, but maybe I should have moved the thermostat. A lady in the elevator said "My room is so warm", so maybe she should have done the same. My room was as cold as the Ed Sullivan Theater, which I was taken to during my trip. Other reviewers have mentioned the squeaky bed and sink with no plug. I had them in my room, but was not bothered at all. It was a nice, clean room, the bed was clean, the bathroom was clean. Avoid this hotel at all costs! I paid $1100 for two nights in June. They decided to shut off the water to the hotel for over 12 hours. When they did this, this also shut off the AC to the hotel. No one could use the bathroom because the toilets wouldn’t flush because there was no water and we also had NO AC so it was very hot. They wouldn’t… Read more

I am not coming back to this place. Warm and humid room with a very noisy and not effective AC. Closed the water in the whole hotel for a whole day. Promised to open it at 6pm but eventually opened it only ~10pm. The furniture is very cheap and not very convenient. Location is fine if you are looking to be near the Time Square.

The rooms are absolutely tiny and are not the cleanest. I bumped my leg on the metal frame of the bed so many times squeezing past to get to the bathroom. I am covered in bruises. They are meant to be refurbished but lots of paint chipped off the walls, thick dust around the skirting boards. Only one wall light worked. The other did not. One of the three sockets did not work. The bed is the squeakiest I have ever heard and if your partner turns over during the night it is so loud you wake up. The air conditioning is powerful but is extremely loud so can’t be left on during the night. The bathroom is tiny but not the cleanest. Toiletries were provided. There was a hairdryer and an iron. The towels are threadbare. Internet only works sometimes. An ironing board, fridge and microwave can be requested but there is literally no room to stand them. No wardrobes so suitcases have to be thin enough to slide under the bed or just stand in the limited floor space. We read reviews before going but thought we would give it a chance. I would definitely not recommend and would not stay again. Reminded me of an old, shabby run down travel lodge. It is such a shame as with a bit of modernisation, a good deep clean and some different beds it would be a good hotel. We expected a small room but not one that we could hardly move in. You would be better paying a bit more to find another hotel. Read less
