The hotel

Railroad magnate Henry Villard's 19th-century mansions were combined with a sleek tower to create one of the city's best hotels. Skyline Cathedral View Rooms are located on higher floors, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Palace Studio Suites feature cathedral views, with 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Tower Rooms are located on the 41st floor and higher, with Manhattan skyline views and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Palace One Bedroom Suites feature a separate living area, and large bedroom with en suite marble bath and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Palace Signature Suite with oversized living room featuring a large dining table and wet bar, full marble bathroom, walk-in closet and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Tower Executive Suites with views of the Rockefeller Centre and St Patrick's cathedral, separate living area, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Tower One Bedroom Suite with panoramic views, marble bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower, living/dining room, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Tower Corner Suites with stunning views in two directions, featuring separate living room with wet bar, butler's pantry, marble bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Palace Family Suites with cathedral views, two bathrooms, multiple seating areas, with either 2 king-size beds plus a sofa bed, or 1 king-size bed, 2 double beds, and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 8 people. 

Tower Two Bedroom Corner Suites with skyline views, two bathrooms, living room, and two bedrooms, one of which features 1 king-size bed, and the other has 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Bed is comfy, room is quiet. Professional enough. However, also Super boring, stuffy and old fashioned with a “charge you for everything” squeeze the guest mentality. It is expensive and there are far better hotels in the same price point. It is not a friendly experience and feels sterile.

Mimi Palacek made our stay seamless! Our room was perfect with a great view of the cathedral. Everything was perfect which is why we love the Lotte! Best location for shopping, dining, and the theater. The entire staff was really nice and helpful.

The room was well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. I absolutely loved the view of Rockefeller Center from the room. The service was wonderful throughout our stay, which really makes all the difference. I must say a big thank you to Rebecca at the front desk for instantly making us feel welcome. Fantastic, friendly service, and great views! This historic hotel has beautiful old world charm at a very 5 star level! Location for business or touring couldn’t be better! Rebecca treated us like family! Response to questions was prompt and friendly from all!

The Lotte Palace is a great hotel in New York...perfect location within walking distance to shopping, entertainment, food. We stayed in the Palace and our room was very spacious. Highly recommend a Cathedral view room...the view is worth it! The Gold Room and Rarities are a must stop for a cocktail before or after dinner!
