There is room where you can get fresh coffee, ice and a variety of cold water. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the very poor quality ‘ continental breakfast’ which was very expensive $20. There were only paper plates and plastic cutlery and a very limited choice of food. This really let the hotel down and I would advise against having breakfast in the hotel. There are a good number of places within a 10minute walk to get breakfast. Read less

I was so impressed by the Kixby! I have stayed at many hotels in New York City and this is my favorite. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. It’s centrally located near most of the major subway lines so easy to get around along with a variety of food options. My room was clean, spacious, and everything was organized very well. I especially enjoyed the 2nd floor facilities where I could grab coffee, snacks, water and other items. The cappuccino came in handy while I was working as it gave me that boost. I liked it so much that I booked another reservation for July. I would highly recommend! Read less

This was, without question, one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This was, without question, one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I’ve ever had. My room was overwhelmed by a vile, stomach-turning stench—an unbearable mix of rancid oil and grease that had clearly seeped in from one of the Korean restaurants attached to the building. The smell was so putrid it made the room uninhabitable. Even worse, management is fully aware of this issue but continues to assign unsuspecting guests to these contaminated rooms. It’s not an isolated incident—it’s a known problem, ignored for the sake of occupancy. A staff member sent to “inspect” the room physically flinched the moment he walked in, which says everything you need to know. If you have any sense of hygiene, comfort, or self-respect, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. This isn’t just a bad stay—it’s an absolute disgrace. Read less

We booked a twin room and ended up on the Penthouse floor where you could also access the roof top bar when open. Beds very comfy and ample sized bathroom - with plenty of mirrors but none in the bedroom! The staff were lovely and we always had a fab welcome at any time of the day. On Floor 2 there is a gym and a room where, in addition to the tea/coffee machine in our room, you could get ice or hot/cold drinks and fruit or a biscuit at any time of day/night to take away. The hotel has its own bar and access to the restaurant next door, Black Tap burgers and craft beer where the food is great and they do these amazing shakes with cakes attached (to see them was enough, we didn’t try them!). The location of the hotel is excellent, the subway is at the end of the street as is Macy’s and I would highly recommend the hotel. Read less
