New York City isn't exactly what I'd call the "easiest" place in the world. Even on its best day, there are challenges. So, to have a great visit to NYC, there's a key ingredient... Staying at the right place. Bringing your sore feet back to a nice hotel at the end of the day. It needs to feel like a sanctuary, in a sense. There's just no way to love your NYC trip when you don't love the hotel you booked. And I love this place. I don't use the word lightly. After 5 or 6 stays over the years, I feel comfortable saying "love." To be perfectly honest, my last stay 18 months ago had me questioning the love. But then I spoke to Alex, who I believe is the director/manager there. And this man went out of his way to make sure our next experience was a great one. He took care of us in a way that you will only find at exceptional properties. Through the years, I've also seen that level of care from Michael Sanchez who worked the night shift at the time. I can't think of a single negative from the stay we had last week. Not one. My previous questions from 18 months ago were all answered. And this property is better than ever. Thank you, Alex. I imagine much of that is because of your influence. That's about all there is to say. I love this hotel. Read less

An amazing stay at the Andaz yet again. In a word exceptional, thank you. We stayed here as a combination of birthdays, and wedding anniversary celebrations. On arrival or room got upgraded to the 2 bed suite on the 14th floor, which was the most spectacular room i have ever stayed in. Wow.

We stayed at the and as for a family trip and absolutely loved it. Location is great, the staff is super helpful, and the rooms are beautiful. Right on 5th avenue and and across the street from Bryant park and the New York public library, everything you need is right there. Bryant park always has something fun going on, there’s a subway stop very close, and 5th avenue shopping is right there. Also just as important as being close to things is not being too close to things like Times Square, which is close enough to walk to, but far enough that you’re not bothered by it. The hotel itself is also beautiful. The rooms are very modern and seem recently updated. Even if they’re not, they’re impeccably clean and well designed. Finally, the service at the hotel was great. The lobby is minimal, but everything you need is right there and the staff is always at hand and helpful. They answered every question we had quickly and nicely. Also, the staff brining up room service was super friendly, sometimes brought extra treats for the kids and remembered us day after day. It felt very personalized and responsive to what we needed when we needed it Read less

Amazing hotel experience! Great location with an easy walk to Broadway. It was our anniversary so the manager and us champagne and snack board. We were in suite 605 and the bathtub was outstanding! Bath salts and everything! The sheets are divine and the breakfast superb.
