This is the sixth time we've stayed at 50 Bowery. It is still a great place. The room and the bathroom are both large by NYC standards. The bed is very comfortable. Everything in the room is clean and in excellent condition. We really enjoy the complimentary coffee/tea on the roof level (previously on the 2nd floor) with newspapers available. The… Read more

Great rooms, well isolated from street noise. The bed was also great. Only thing I would improve would be the pillows as they were a bit too soft, other than that all great. Location is also quite well connected, with a great variety of restaurants nearby. Highlight: Lucia Pizza, Los Tacos Nr 1, Soho for shopping.

The only issue we had was that the water refill station had warm water only, but I informed the manager and they are working on replacing it. Hopefully, in the future, other guests will get cold water to refill their water bottles. Read less

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Lower East Side neighborhood - it's about a 10-15 minute walk to those bars and restaurants. It's located in Chinatown, and the closest subway stop is Canal St. I liked the nods to the neighborhood through the hotel decoration. I ate the best meal of my trip at a nearby restaurant, 456 Shanghai. … Read more

I ate the best meal of my trip at a nearby restaurant, 456 Shanghai. The staff was welcoming and helpful. My room was very clean, and the bathroom toiletries were nice. The room also felt pretty big compared to other hotel rooms I've seen in Manhattan. I would stay here again if visiting lower Manhattan. Read less
