Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, great location. Room was large for NY and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good enough and there a switch in the protein each of the 5 days that I was there. The rooms seemed small at first, but after a day I realized I did have a very big bed and I loved the fact that I was able to chromecast my tv shows onto the tv so I could watch with my family. The "kitchen area" consisted of a microwave that did not work (looked deceptively like a real microwave) and a small hot water/coffee maker which did work. The small fridge kept things cool but I was not able to keep frozen items frozen. Overall, the hotel was nice but a few items like a working microwave would have been nice to heat up some snacks. The breakfast was 100% worth it- lots of choices. Between hot foods (don't eat the eggs) of bacon/sausages and french toast strips/pancakes/potatoes and a variety of cereals and steel cut oats and yogurts with a variety of fruits, plus sometimes pastries and toast/bagels. I would say the breakfast was very beneficial with a lovely 2nd floor view of the streets to people watch. Always space to sit down whether with a friend or family. Read less

I was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite so can’t speak for the normal rooms but mine was a good size by NY standards. The furniture and feel of the room felt fresh unlike a lot of other hotels in the city that are dated. Also the breakfast was varied and good quality, again a rarity in this hotel segment for NY especially these days. The staff were all pleasant, especially the ladies at breakfast who were very helpful and courteous despite having to deal with a large volume of guests. Overall I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Read less
