Having experienced impeccable service attitude at The Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge NY, I feel compelled to cite Melissa Rivera as an exemplary example of an outstanding service oriented employee. Such individuals are rare in life. You meet them once in a rare while!

We reserved three rooms for family members at this property in Brooklyn for a family wedding over Memorial Day weekend. All went well with the stay, but when checking our account for reward points and nightly stay credit, only one room was credited. When I checked with the hotel, they quickly passed me off to the corporate office for Marriott. A rude, condescending agent told me we only received credit for one room because not all the rooms were for equal number of stay duration. Evidently, this is their corporate policy. Thus, even though we should have received credit for 14 nights stay and the corresponding point credit, we only received credit for 6 nights and the applicable points. Having spent well over six thousand dollars and being a Platinum Elite member with BonVoy, I was very disappointed and upset. They would not honor any of the other rooms and curtly told me I could go to Hilton or Hyatt if I didn’t like the BonVoy policy. The shear arrogance and condescending attitude saddens me and I hope others will soon leave BonVoy as they really don’t care about customer loyalty or satisfaction. Read less

Though it had been several months since our last stay at the Brooklyn Marriott, it was a very welcoming experience thanks to Beverly at the Front Desk and Maryann who greeted us like old friends. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and there are several options for food in and around the hotel. We also discovered that the nearest subway stop has elevator access.
