Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. The cutting-edge pool is surrounded by private retreats, semi-private plunge pools and cabanas; there’s a world-class spa, and you are a few short minutes away from a dizzying range of dining, shopping and entertainment options, so you’ll never be short of things to do. The Vdara really is an oasis in the desert.

Love love love the Vdara Hotel! It's a non smoking non gaming hotel, which was very important to me. Instead of cigarette, it smells wonderful! And it's connected to the Cosmopolitan and the Bellagio (a short 5 minutes walk). All rooms have a kitchenette and are modernly decorated. There’s no self-parking, only valet — but that’s a small trade off… Read more

Great place to stay, great views from room, staff is friendly and willing to help. We stayed in a Suite on the 49th floor and loved it. I just wish there was coffee in the room for the keurig. The shower in the bathroom was awesome.the bed and couch were both comfortable to sleep on.

Nothing in the room is complimentary, the coffee costs 18 Dollars per Keurig cup. Water , cookies and gummies displayed as a welcome gift costs extra too and there was nothing obviously displayed about prices ( it was not in the minibar). Hotel room was nothing special, location is good walking distance to go to the Strip.

Asked for a view and high floor at check in only to be told bluntly that wasn’t an option. Hotel is convenient for Access to Aria, Cosmopolitan and Bellagio so whilst it’s a little back of the strip it’s still easily walkable. Pool was OK but pretty boring compared to other Vegas pools. No real restaurants only a cafe on site so really just needs to be treated as a base to explore other hotels. Overall we were happy without being blown away by either the service or facilities! Jagged fridge handle that lightly cut a few fingers welcomed me to a room on the 15th floor that had a great view and lots of dusty and stained and beat up furniture. Jagged fridge handle that lightly cut a few fingers welcomed me to a room on the 15th floor that had a great view and lots of dusty and stained and beat up furniture. The big lighted mirror in bathroom didn’t work and one of the light bulbs on my hubby’s side of bed was out. Asked for a light bulb to be brought up on the second day. Got a hotel electrician to deliver it. Told him I didn’t need him to put in the lightbulb just give me the new one as I handed him the burnt out one. Also, at that time I informed him of the mirror light switch connection that was busted in the bathroom and that he might want to write that down to have fixed after we leave. Who knows if he did? Why doesn’t this hotel have housekeeping do simple SOP’s of putting on all the light fixtures to make sure they’re all working properly? The kicker was there were no outlets on either side of the bed and the only usb ports were two they had in the hotel owned tablet holder! Nothing says this hotel is badly in need of an update like not having any technology concerning cell phones. Don’t look down at the old and frayed carpet either. It will make you gag. We didn’t complain because we had three nights comped to us by MGM. I’m just wondering if we got this room because it was comped to us. Would we have received a nicer room if we had paid? Oh and room service food is the worst!! Just go to one of the many choices you have at the other hotels that are attached to Vdara by convenient walkways, hallways, and stairways. Read less
