Upon entering The Sahara, we were blown away by the beautiful decor and cleanliness. Very excited to start our Las Vegas week trip. At check in we did not receive a very warm welcome, no maps, smiles or welcomes. Also they did not honour the resort fees we booked at, as we booked before they increased. Miserable gentleman at check in said he checked with the manager and they simply said no to honouring them. Which was very annoying and a rip off. The hotel was very clean, constant cleanliness through out. Restrooms were always being cleaned. Kitchens inside the restaurants were immaculate. Although our room did not get cleaned for 3 days, when it did it was immaculate. The corridors had take out bags, bits of eaten pizza in the hallway for days. Hotel room was a great size, view was amazing. The pool sun loungers were horrificly uncomfortable, woven uncomfortable string, with 2 massive bars in the middle. The pool was great, but not very clean somedays. Plastic, hair etc floating in it. Poolside had bits of hair and food under and in-between the loungers. Get there early as there are hardly any loungers and the pool got very busy from around 1pm. The music poolside, screens, food and drinks were great. Although be careful charging to your room, as not only did we pay for the hotel, plus increased resort fees which we shouldn't have paid. Once settling your tab you also get charged a venue fee for sitting around the pool as well as tipping obviously . Chickies and Peter were amazing, absolutely delicious. We ate there nearly every day. Dash and Jason were our servers, amongst others, who were all so friendly and attentive. Hotel corridoors stunk of weed, but as its legal there we expected it. I didn't mind at all, but lots of others staying there did. All staff members, security, cocktail waitresses, food servers etc were very friendly, polite, attentive and professional. Great location for the monorail and duece bus. Close to downtown too. We had a fantastic stay other than the few hiccups mentioned. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to others. Had great fun in the casino, had a few small wins. Thankyou Sahara Team, for a wonderful first visit to Las Vegas. You made my 40th birthday celebrations one to remember Read less

We arrived a few hours prior to checkin and paid the fee to checkin early. The front desk associate was kind and helpful. We set our stuff down and went to get food. When we came back 30 min later, our room reeked of weed. We reported it to the front desk and they quickly sent an ozone machine up while we were in the room. We did not know and no one let us know that ozone gas was toxic. When I did a google search about the machine it said it was toxic and we left the room. Now on our first night we both have pounding headaches, brain fog, scratchy throats, and a cough. I wish they would have told us it was it was toxic. We are only here for 2 nights and now one of them is gone. Read less

The room was large and very clean. We had a fridge that we could put our own water in. The bed was very comfy. The hotel itself was really nice, and although you are at the north end of the strip, we actually preferred it. You can take the monorail, or a taxi will cost you around $10. The staff are all very friendly, especially at the tables. We will return here on our next visit to Vegas. Oh, also, there is free parking at the Sahara Read less

Worse hotel and casino in Vegas. Please do not take your family. Spent all time at different. Such a waste. Management was rude. The casino it self is a huge disappointment. If you stay here, definitely keep your money for the nicer casinos. Take the monorail. At least if you lose your money, you do it in a classier place.
