Horseshoe Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

You're sure to find everything you need here for a classic Vegas trip - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

Terrible. Rooms were old and dingy. I upgraded to a suite and it was a big room but hardly what you would expect. The casino was old and the table limits were way too high for that casino. I suspect it was because the WSOP was in progress. several of the elevators were malfunctioning and I never saw a casino employee around. We went to Gut… Read more

I suspect it was because the WSOP was in progress. several of the elevators were malfunctioning and I never saw a casino employee around. We went to Gut Fieris Flavortown for breakfast the first day we were there and although it took forever for the food to come it was fantastic. exactly what you expect from Guy: Gourmet level. So, we decided to go back 2 days later and it was a complete joke. Actually every item we got was terrible. We ordered the same Avocado Toast we got the first day which was exactly as described on the menu (brioche toast), was served on a hamburger bun! Nothing match what the menu described. We talked to the manager and he said they didn't expect the number of people and they "adjusted" by serving bad food! Incredible. It also took forever to get our meal again. At least he comped the crappy meal for us. If I was Guys Fieri I would have been totally embarrassed! Will never stay in this hotel again. Read less

Don't stay here if you want to go to the pool cause Monday thru Thursday you have to walk over to the Paris pool. Horseshoe pool is only open Friday thru Sunday 9am to 5pm and only the shallow end of the pool is open cause they never have enough life guards. Corporate greed at its best! No wonder travel is down for Vegas along with ridiculous high… Read more

Hotel said it was only open on the weekends, during Memorial Day week also as they were hosting the WSOP. In my opinion, if I am paying these heavy resort fees, I should have all the amenities available to me. Instead I had to walk about a mile to the Paris pool. Would have been nice to know this before I checked in, I would have chosen a different hotel because going to the pool is something I do each day while in Vegas. I would also say, since this changed from Ballys to the Horseshoe, hotel ownership has done nothing to improve this hotel. Guess they are just letting it go downhill Read less

Rooms big and for the most part clean (except the shower had hair in it). Do not pay extra for the fountain view, you will be wasting your money. Check in/out was easy with express check-in/out at the kiosk. Lobby was clean. Easy to get a cab. Easy access to the strip and other hotels.
