Caesars Palace

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

This Las Vegas legend hasn’t outlasted many of its neighbours by accident. Look beyond its decadent glory-of-Rome exterior and you’ll find supremely well-appointed, contemporary rooms and suites without a whiff of white marble overkill. There are few Vegas resorts that can hold a Roman candle to Caesar’s casino and gaming options, while foodies could happily spend days ticking off the relaxed and upscale eateries on offer. Likewise, if retail therapy is on your mind, the resort’s Forum Shops is an opulent mall that’s been dubbed ‘The Shopping Wonder of the World’. And did we mention that Caesar’s Palace continues to host the grandest of grand Vegas performers such as Adele at its 4000 plus seater Colosseum stadium?

I had such a pleasant young lady at check in her name was Kiana. She was efficient and personable and kind and actually looked at you when you spoke. She just was a pleasure to work with. Whilst on the 58th floor offered a great view that's all that I can say was good about our stay. The door was scratched, the chair in the room was damaged and despite knowing who would be staying in the room there was an offering of not age appropriate material on the convenience tray. I stayed here with my parents and my 7 year old daughter. The pool was only available if you booked a lounge area and at $75 this was less than agreeable. I fully appreciate the 'normal' clientele that visit this place may find this acceptable but for a family just stopping over night on a long drive back to Arizona from California I can say that I would not choose to stay here again. It's become a far less family hotel and more like an adults only resort. Such a shame Read less

Now we find ourselves in a tiny room with ripped carpets, dirty carpets, chipped furniture and along with a noisy air conditioner. We have not received the pool view room we paid for and are now in a totally different tower to our 2 daughters and their partners who got moved once they were allowed to checkin. The checkin clerk was the rudest and most unhelpful front of house staff member I have ever dealt with, just plain rude. This room is a dump and we will never be back. We are in the Julius tower # 957. I am waiting for a manager to call but that was over 2 hours ago. Just moved here from the Wynn what a mistake, should have stayed there. I cannot believe that a hotel can let out rooms in this condition, shame on an icon like Caesar’s palace and shame on the management that permit this to occur. Read less

Immediately hit with extra charges - early check in/late check out/upgraded room/room near pool etc etc optional but we wanted to do it right! Room was great large with beautiful bathroom. Not well soundproofed - we could hear every word of our next door neighbours 6am phone conversations! Service was impersonal apart from pool bar service. The main pool was closed and a large section of the sun-beds were blocked off for maintenance (never saw anything going on suspect it was shut for low season?) this meant limited sun-beds (with absolutely no shade) were available unless you paid extra. Ate and drank in various places all good but you pay top price for everything- including Starbucks. Generally stay here for the experience of being in a central iconic Las Vegas hotel rather than a top quality hotel and bring plenty of bucks!!!!! Read less
