This property as a whole is nice and I would stay here again. The reason for the 3 rating instead of a 4 was because there were quite a few issues with the tower (Ruby Tower) I stayed in. Something must have caused water to leak all over because there was a terrible musty smell all throughout the tower. There were large fans places throughout but it didn’t really help as much as it should have. When I booked my reservation I was promised a “Strip view” room and was not given that. The room I was given also had an issue with the television and when I was moved late the next day, the room’s view of the strip left much to be desired. I know it was a holiday weekend and complete sell outs are possible, but I would have liked to have been given a better room right away or given the room that I booked in the first place. The hotel DID comp my resort fees and gave me a $50 credit for a meal which helped alleviate some of the annoyance of dealing with the aforementioned issues. I would possibly stay here again but definitely try another tower in hopes that it is nicer and gives what the reservation promised. Read less

The Virgin hotel Las Vegas is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The staff are top tier and they make sure you enjoy your visit. TREAT YOURSELF to a spa visit. It is so relaxing and the masseuse listens to your concerns. Every resturant/store are geared to your overall experience.

I freaking love this hotel and the staff are amazing because last month my mother and I were guest and we stay for 2 days. As soon as we checked in and got into our room we noticed the room was kinda warm inside so I tried fixing the temperature myself but with no luck. So I called the front desk explained to what happened and they were going to notify maintenance which took about 45 minutes cause they were on emergency call first then after 20 minutes, then came to my room and for some reason they were a miracle they fixed my AC and it felt so cooler and I told myself they were lifesaver and I had no problem with my room for my 2 day stay so I would say to myself I love this hotel and I know this is probably my second time staying at the hotel and I would definitely be back sometime in the future Read less

Does not honor Hilton Honors Benefits

As other reviews here have noted, Virgin Hotels does not honor its guests’ HiltonHonors affiliation benefits. I stayed on business in room 11116 on the 11th Floor of Ruby Tower from May 12 - 15, just before the property transformed into an official EDC Hotel. The room was a "Ruby 1 King Strip View Suite," which they did not upgrade per HiltonHonors Gold status policy, even though the property appeared empty during my four day stay. At check-out, the hotel did not apply $15/day HiltonHonors food allowance. Only one of two very large pools was open, and only during the day. They opened the second pool for EDC partygoers the evening of the day I left. It was a slow convention week so the casino and restaurants were very quiet until the EDC crowd started to arrive, but they were not here to gamble. Many were in K Pop costumes and seemed to be camping on the casino floors. The medium size casino had traditional digital and table games but lacked the splashy new digital, group craps, roulette, blackjack tables you see at Resorts World and Cosmopolitan properties. I was impressed with their new Cherry Rewards program and enrolled as a new member, earning a higher level status with my play during my stay. I had the casino almost all to myself most nights. My room in the Ruby tower of this old Hard Rock Hotel near the airport, was modern, bright, clean, quiet and spacious. The bed was extremely soft and the bathroom was oddly large with a lot of unused floor space. It had a large shower with detached wand and a separate, deep, large rectangular bathtub. The young girl at front desk check in desk was distracted and rude, but Ruby Tower guests have a separate check-in area that I was unaware of until after checking in. Casino staff and restaurant personnel were good at customer service. Overall, I give Virgin LV between 3٫0 and 3٫5 stars, largely because the off strip location offers across street 24 hour access to a CVS, 7-11, Subway Sandwiches, Dunkin, White Castle, a new “Mint” dispensary, nail salon, and several restaurants and bars, all within walking distance and considerably less expensive than on-strip equivalents. It is not the rowdy, fun place I recall the Hard Rock being, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, well located (off-strip), quiet venue, then Virgin Hotel might be for you. I may return in the future, but not my next visit next month where I’m back at Cosmo. Read less

Absolutely loved this hotel!! Great feel about it.. it is quite a distance from the strip but cheap enough to jump in an Uber/Lyft.. room was huge (including the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on), living area with sofa and tv, dining area and bar area.. then dressing area in hallway along with a lovely bathroom.
