Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great Location and Property but Pools tiles in Disrepair

Overall experience was great... The only issue was that the pools were missing tiles, cracked, and a severely faded. If I was the resort owner or manager to make this a 5 star property I would have all the pools resurfaced and replaced and repair the broken or missing tiles.

Amazing experience at a modern hotel. We had amazing food and drinks along with amazing views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the location and convenience of the resort. The breakfast was amazing and we looked forward to it everyday.

We have been here for four days with one left. Our thoughts and observations. 1. Breakfast is fantastic. Albeit included with our rate. Not sure I’d paid $50+ per person each morning if not. But very good. 2. Took a day or two to realize they allow day passes to pool, etc here. Like a dang water park. For the coin you pay to stay here, I think… Read more

The masses come in to enjoy the amenities. 3. Food in restaurants around pool just okay. Pokė bowl is great. Everything else is just meh. Drinks are very good ($22 a pop). Wine selection not good. Stay away. 4. Yoga classes are GREAT. If you are a traveling yogi, I highly recommend. 5. Service is okay. If you are used to traveling to Mexico and that level of service, this place ain’t it. This resort is Gorgeous. The sunset view is unbelievable, the snorkeling out front is some of the best on the island, and the staff are amazing. So many find things to do that are included in your stay from snorkeling to ukulele classes, I will be returning. Drinks are a little pricey but that is to be expected I guess.

This resort exceeded our expectations but in my opinion it is not a good option for families with young children. A small nylon-like beach bag and reusable water bottles are given at checkin. Water stations are located throughout the resort. ROOMS: Our room was clean and inviting. We stayed in a King Room with a Balcany and Ocean View. Please… Read more
This resort exceeded our expectations but in my opinion it is not a good option for families with young children. A small nylon-like beach bag and reusable water bottles are given at checkin. Water stations are located throughout the resort. ROOMS: Our room was clean and inviting. We stayed in a King Room with a Balcany and Ocean View. Please note the rooms are minimalist in styling and the bathroom can be a little awkward if you are wanting complete privacy while showering as you can be seen from the toilet as well as sink /vanity area. The Balcony was equipped with 2 chairs and side table. DINING: Morimoto was one of our favorite dining experiences while in Wailea. We also enjoyed the Luau on the Andez property as well as The Pool Bar and Grill. There is a market that has great coffee / latte's and breakfast as well as lunch options. STAFF: The staff were amazing, From the Front Desk to the Pool Staff to the Waiters and Waitresses everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. SPA: The spa facilities were great. The Steam Shower, Sauna as well as Hot Tub can be used before or after you treatment for up to 90 minutes. POOL: There are numerous pools and a hot tub. Complimentary Sunscreen with unlimited towels and water is available. CAR SERVICE: With a pricey overnight parking fee, it is best not to rent a car if you are staying on property. There is a free car service available for the Wailea area. BEACH: This property does have beach access and you can get chairs and umbrella's setup for an additional fee. OVERALL: The ocean views are outstanding at Andaz Maui. A private lounge area with shower is available for use on the day of checkout. Luggage storage is available. We will return! Read less
