I enjoyed the hotel and bar experience. the restaurant wasn't the best but satisfying. It was walking distance to Beille Street and a throw stone from the convention center. Major kudos to Ms. Ashley at the bar...she made theeeee best LI-Ice teas outside of NYC. Also, it would have been nice to have live music at the hotel. It's Memphis… Read more

Walking into the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel for my recent three-night stay in April 2025, I felt less than impressed. The person at the front desk seemed very uninterested, even distracted. “Can I help you?” she asked. When I got to my room, though, I found a kind note from the front desk staff welcoming me to the hotel and a couple of chocolates, which helped change my initial impression. I came to Memphis to see Graceland and the Lorraine Museum. I paid for my room out-of-pocket. The Sheraton Memphis Hotel, built in 1985, looks a bit dated and indeed in the lobby features pictures of future renovation plans. If you like to take a dip in a swimming pool, as I do, the pool is not open. As for the room, I slept in a comfortable bed, and I viewed a large 65” TV screen. The cable TV had lots of channels, a feature I like in a hotel. A large hotel, the Sheraton has a grand sweeping entryway outside. Beautiful trees line a plaza outside of yet another entryway. The friendly front desk man who helped me when I checked out said, “Oh, and I forgot to ask, how was your stay?” I appreciated his kindness. “I had a good stay,” I replied, and so it was. Read less

From Jerry cracking me up when I needed to keep my bag at the front desk, to the entire staff being so friendly and helpful, I had a lovely stay at this Sheraton! My room was cleaned thoroughly every day and Jerry especially went above and beyond for customer service. I’d love to come back!
