The hotel

This Guest House at Graceland couldn’t be better placed for all you Elvis fans. With Priscilla Presley involved in the design of the building, it’s an inspiring and contemporary place to stay, just steps down the street from the house that the Presley family cherished so much. The very embodiment of southern-style hospitality, there are 2 restaurants, with the option of indoor and outdoor dining, plus a fully-service bar and an outdoor swimming pool – handy for cooling off in after a day spent sightseeing. There’s also a 464-seat theatre for live performances and movies, so keep an eye on the billing, as there’s sure to be some great performances going on! A shuttle* is available to take you all the way to Beale Street, where you can indulge your passion for the King a little bit more.

The Guesthouse at Graceland is a beautiful place with friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms and facility are very clean with comfortable beds. Easy to navigate the facility. We will be back and hope to stay longer next time to experience more of Memphis.

Overall beautifully placed for Graceland tour. Decor beautiful and rooms were great . However found the staff very unwelcoming especially on check in. Bar prices very expensive and seemed to vary depending on who was serving. Ok for a once off stay .

Stayed for one night to tie in with a visit to Graceland and very much regretted not booking for longer. I have only positive things to share - a warm welcome on arrival from the valet, concierge, front desk staff and management. The rooms we booked were adjoining, very spacious, beautifully presented and the beds were really comfy. There is a courtesy bus every 30 mins to Graceland. Food was great, plenty of options, there’s entertainment including live music and a movie. You can also get a free pink limo ride too and from Marlowe’s Rib & Restaurant. The following day we enjoyed a few hours around the pool before picking up the next leg of our trip. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back Read less

We have very mixed feelings about the Guest House at Graceland. We liked the concept and the theming of the hotel - all of the amenities were really well themed and we absolutely loved the extra details for Elvis fans like the screenings of the Elvis films in the evening and the Elvis themed cocktails. The rooms were also really nice and clean (thanks to the housekeeping team). BUT there were a few things that let it down: Firstly the experience with the staff was really varied. A few were friendly and helpful (coffee shop), whilst others, seemed like they did not want to be there. We found this particularly to be the case on reception and in the diner where some of the staff were actually quite rude when taking food and drink orders (restaurant) or trying to help with issues (reception). I also found trying to contact someone at the hotel in the lead up to my reservation really difficult as I am not based in the US so calling their number was not possible. No one got back to me on email until I chased multiple times. We also thought the quality of the food in the diner wasn't particularly great and there were few options for vegetarians / vegans and I expired snacks from the vending machines (the latter I took to reception but I was told the vending machines were managed by a third party so were not their responsibility). Overall, we are glad we gave the hotel a try but I doubt we will stay again. Read less
