We had an amazing stay at Virgin Hotels New Orleans. The room was beautiful, the service was warm and friendly, and the food and drinks were excellent—cocktails especially! It felt stylish and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The only thing that brought our rating down slightly was the post-stay experience. We reached out to clarify how Amex Platinum credits were applied and, despite multiple polite follow-ups, never received a response. It was disappointing, especially after such a great stay—but hopefully just a one-off. That aside, we would absolutely return and recommend it to others. It’s a gorgeous, fun, and thoughtfully designed place with real personality. Read less

Great place to stay for Jazzfest...or any Fest! Cool rooms, great bar and cocktails, and the rooftop pooldeck was a great spot to wind down. Great value for the price. We stayed with eight people, all of whom had a great time. We will be back! Close enough and far enough from the Quarter.

I was highly disappointed in our room and our stay here. We have stayed at Virgin Hotels in NYC, Nashville & Dallas and LOVED it! I had many options but choose Virgin for my bday weekend with my daughter to ensure a comfortable stay based on prior experiences. Two of the main lights didn't work, the toilet didn't flush, and our sheets were filthy with stains and what looked like human and dog hair. My guess is our room was NOT serviced at all. The mirrors annd carpets were dirty as well. I specially asked for a non pet room due to my daughter's allergies. Her allergies were horrible the whole time. She couldn't breathe. If we didn't have such a busy weekend & jazz fest wasn't going on I would have rented a different hotel but was stuck here. They should NOT have rented this room to anyone and I paid full price for it which was not cheap. We were exhausted from an entire day of travel and had to wait more than two hours to have fresh sheets delivered & had to call the front desk 8x to get them. On my birthday I was remaking the bed & literally falling asleep standing up I was so exhausted. Again I chose Virgin Hotels to avoid these kinds of issues. We checked in late, they had plenty of time to service our room and ensure everything was working. There were fruit flies & fruit fly traps inside the pastry display of the coffee shop & the one day we attempted the free wine there were fruit flies everywhere. I made it clear I didn't want anyone in our room while we were not there as we had valuables & even had our do not disturb light on so we were surprised to come back from a night out to find a bottle of wine on ice on the table condescending all over my bday gifts and cake. Nice gesture but again I didn't want anyone in my room. We were tired and asked for clean towels that same evening on our second night there and had to call 5x for them and wait well over an hour for them to bring them up. I would NOT recommend this location and will never stay here again. I asked to speak to the manager Nicolette who told me after the first night she would be available during our stay but never heard from her again even after leaving two messages for her. I was told I would get a discount & never did. Read less

This was our third time staying at this hotel. It's so upbeat, great service, clean and great location. We love staying here. Cozy feel and New Orleans vibe. Definitely, plan on staying here again. The only thing missing this trip is they usually have live music in the bar area. Hopefully, next time.

The room was fantastic on the 14th floor with a view across the city. Beds so comfortable - shower unit had issues with it (plug to switch to hand held kept falling out). Room had a great view across New Orleans. Staff were so friendly throughout but you can’t use the stairs as the doors need cards but they should tell you that on the information. Charged $11 plus for a bottle of water which is ridiculous when water in most hotels is free So high end cost in hotel but sadly with high additional charges that are unnecessary and unfair (in my opinion) Read less
