Some of their staff have been there for decades, which creates the amazing rapport they have with guests. I miss the old R Club that changed greatly after COVID, but was happy to still see the familiar faces once I returned to NOLA. My rooms have always been clean, the breakfast at Desire has always been great, Le Booze's bartenders and drinks are wonderful. Looking forward to a couple of more visits this year. Read less

I arranged a slightly better price by booking for five couples, but when another couple signed on weeks later they were not given the price we were offered and paid Approx $100 more per night? We arrived early, exhausted and had to pay a $65 fee for early admission to our room (which was already made up). Next we were told (for the first time), that we would be charged $25/day but that if we spent money on drinks etc. half would go to pay the $25 fee. We opted for a room with balcony. A street drummer played until 2AM; the garbage trucks arrived at 5:30 AM. Bottom line, nice hotel, very noisy; get an inside room and expect to be ripped off by hidden greedy charges. Read less

The hotel itself is very clean and the courtyard and pool is lovely . Location is good if you want to be in your centre of the lively neighbourhood . What is terrible is the other aspects which would 100% prevent me from staying again . No water in rooms or public areas so it’s 8٫00 plus tax a bottle . Windows don’t open , view is awful , plastic… Read more

What is terrible is the other aspects which would 100% prevent me from staying again . No water in rooms or public areas so it’s 8٫00 plus tax a bottle . Windows don’t open , view is awful , plastic covering is filthy Had booked a balcony (in fact they imply every room has a balcony ) they do not - and then received a response on arrival of none available They also took a charge to card of 250 which substances hit processed the payment this waiting 5 working days for a refund instead of a hold Staff - so so so rude hard to know where to begin . I booked through a third party app which they openly were annoyed about . To say they didn’t care was an understatement Rude , and bar etc all closed at 11٫30 (early for Nola ) No room service available either and shower is in-useable . Barely a trickle Curtains wouldn’t close so bright all night long m and especially at 6 am Price per night without breakfast was 223 a night Read less

We booked a Bourbon St King, as we have been to Nola numerous times, but had never stayed right on Bourbon. ...and I cannot recommend it more - with some earplugs in, sleep wasn't a problem. The Jazz Playhouse is arguably the best little place to watch jazz in the city. Desire oyster bar offered great drinks and chargrilled oysters (go see Kiki at the bar!), and Restaurant R'Evolution was the icing on the cake - excellent fine dining experience ...really, you could come to New Orleans and spend the entire trip at the hotel, and still have an excellent time. The bed was also very comfy. I'd highly recommend this place, and I would be hard-pressed to stay anywhere else in the future! Read less

Stay Away! We reserved a balcony room along Bourbon street during jazzfest hoping to people watch. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the room we found it to be very outdated, unclean with a postage stamp size shared balcony. The only good thing i can say is that after much complaining they did refund our money so we could stay elsewhere
