The hotel

There’s nothing quite like shooting hoops against a skyscraper-swept backdrop. It’s also the view enjoyed while playing pickleball or take a morning rooftop jog at Hilton Atlanta. Don't worry, it's not all about fitness here - you're just a stroll from CNN Center, World of Coca-Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. Whether you've worked up an appetite playing sports or exploring the city, you can head to the Southern Elements restaurant which offers traditional Southern Cuisine, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or find yourself in the Trader Vic’s, featuring hand-carved tikis, palm-thatched ceilings, and south pacific décor offering an international menu and tropical cocktails, including the Peachtree Punch, a signature cocktail of Trader Vic’s Atlanta. And the star here is Nickolai’s Roof, a penthouse restaurant whose menu’s drizzled with fine dining buzzwords like ‘veloute’, ‘confit’ and ‘truffle demi glace’.

The room seemed to be the same size as rooms on other floors with the only premium upgrade I could see was a robe in the closet. However, I did receive a food credit which was nice and I had housekeeping every day. Every member of the staff I encountered was excellent. The food that we had in conjunction with the conference was much better than any other conference I have been to. We also ate at Trader Vic's - lots of food and nice drinks and the restaurant bar on the top floor - kind of pricey but great staff and the food was very good. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4 out of 5 stars just because I think the rooms could use an upgrade. Read less

This is a huge very nice and comfortable hotel but is badly let down by its housekeeping. Your beds are made and room tided every two days. You are meant to get fresh towels every day which is not very ECO friendly but that doesn’t always happen. The rooms get the most basic cleaning. This is a huge very nice and comfortable hotel but is badly let down by its housekeeping. Your beds are made and room tided every two days. You are meant to get fresh towels every day which is not very ECO friendly but that doesn’t always happen. The rooms get the most basic cleaning. In 5 days my bedding wasn’t changed i know this as there was a small brown stain on duvet. The breakfast buffet is expensive and they seem to close when they feel like it. I was told it was 1130 at weekend. This was wrong as Buffet closes at 11 but last Saturday they decided to close at 1040 without telling anyone who was already eating. At 36 dollars it’s vastly overpriced for quality and quantity. This hotel is often rammed with conference people but the staff are very attentive. When you message front desk on app they are quick to respond. Read less
