Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite, which was MUCH appreciated, and given a few treats for the room, such as a bottle of wine and some snacks. I'm so glad I opted for this hotel, it was clean, well located and quiet. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite, which was MUCH appreciated, and given a few treats for the room, such as a bottle of wine and some snacks. The room was clean and tidy and well equipped, we didn't have to ask for anything to be brought up. Our only downside was the desk staff (aside from Steve who was lovely, chatty and gave us a warm welcome). Other staff seemed disengaged, not rude, but not as welcoming as they could have been. Really great hotel. Location fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough for you. Anything that wasnt in the room or was needed they would sort straight away. The rooms were well appointed and good value. I'm actually quite shocked at the difference in experience and the reviews on here.
