Went on a business trip with my company. The pool is very nice and big and the staff is super friendly. I inquired about going somewhere and it was a really long walk. The staff lent me their hotel bikes to go and it shortened the time to get there by a lot.

James Herrmann helped me with my bags. He was very polite, friendly, delightful! I most often manage my own bags but today needed a bit of help. He was more than happy to assist. I definitely did not feel like I was being a burden! A very welcome relief.

Service was great. The valet was so helpful! We had a baby with us and many belongings, they helped streamline lugging everything to and from the hotel room. Nicholas and Roger were really helpful and attentive. Other highlights include comfortable beds and good food!

We stayed here for the third leg of our honeymoon trip along the West Coast of the USA. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a one-night stopover on our drive to Las Vegas. However, our experience with the staff and hotel systems was frustrating and inconsistent. On arrival, the receptionist struggled to check us in, which delayed us after a long drive from LA. There was also confusion over the resort fee — even though our booking clearly showed it was included, the staff couldn’t confirm it at first. After showing our documentation, we were eventually checked in. A complimentary welcome drink was offered, which was a nice gesture and helped smooth over the check-in issues. The stay itself was fine — the room was clean, and the drinks we had were enjoyable. But unfortunately, checking out brought more problems: Resort Fee Confusion: We were told again that the resort fee hadn’t been paid and were not allowed to leave until we settled it. After contacting our travel provider (Trailfinders), we went ahead and paid the $25, received a receipt, and were later refunded after the error was confirmed. For fee of $25, alot was made out of it by the hotel. If it wasn't paid, it was the travel company they should have been dealing with considering our documentation showed it was covered. Security Deposit Mishandling: We were told the $100 deposit was just a credit card hold, but it was actually charged. Upon checking out, I was informed it would be refunded in 3–5 working days — but over a week later, the charge was still on my account. I was only recently told today it will now take an additional 10 days to return. It’s a pity because the hotel itself is nice and ideally located for a quick stop on a road trip. But the ongoing issues with payments, poor communication, and the overall lack of trust around deposits would prevent me from staying here again. Read less

We stayed here for three nights while attending a nearby dance competition, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. Before booking, I called the hotel twice to confirm they had EV charging. I was assured there were three chargers that “hardly ever get used” and that early check-in was possible if a room was available. I arrived with my child and elderly parent—understanding that early check-in wasn’t guaranteed—but was told they’d call me once a room was ready. After five hours of waiting and hearing nothing, I returned to the front desk and was told a room was now available. Still no courtesy call. The room had a strong musty odor but we were just happy to settle in. Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t functioning. I contacted the front desk and was told maintenance was on the way. After waiting over an hour and a half, I called again and only then did someone show up. The technician had to climb into the attic to get it working. The next morning, the room became freezing and we had to call again. A different technician arrived about an hour later and resolved it, but again—another delay, and this time, the technician smelled strongly of cigarettes. The pool was another huge disappointment. It was a beautiful day in the 70s, and we were looking forward to using their large pool. But it wasn’t heated, and the pool pump was apparently broken. Around 30 guests were crammed into the small spa to try to stay warm, while the main pool sat empty. Only the small pool was usable. Finally, the EV charging—which was one of the reasons I booked here—didn’t work. Even with my own Tesla connector, I was told I couldn’t charge because the chargers were incompatible. After insisting, a staff member stood by while I attempted to connect—and it was confirmed they were out of order. The front desk staff didn’t help matters—there was an air of indifference, and unfortunately, it seemed like guests were more of a nuisance than a priority. Overall, this hotel did not deliver on its promises, and the experience was consistently disappointing from check-in to check-out. I wouldn’t recommend it to families, EV drivers, or anyone expecting even a basic level of hospitality and functionality. Read less
