402 comfortably appointed guest rooms and suites on 3 floors with 2 lifts in total. Now featuring a modern beach house ambience with some rooms featuring a balcony or terrace. Air-conditioning, 37" flat-screen LCD TV, coffee maker, fridge, safe, iPod iHome docking station, iron and board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms with 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Pool View Rooms have the same amenities as Standard Rooms but with views of the Indulge pool plus a spacious patio or balcony, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child.

Balcony View Rooms, with the same amenities as Standard Rooms, have views of the bay, swimming pool or golf course from the balcony, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child.

SHOR American Seafood Grill (a modern beach house ambience serving locally sourced Southern California-inspired cuisine). Starbucks® coffee and breakfast are available in the mornings, plus cocktails in the evenings at the Newporter lounge and outdoor patio. Very nice hotel, rooms are clean, restaurant selection was great. and great customer service, I was there attending the New Port Beach Jazz festival we had a great time. Service was really good. The people that work there will make you want to return as soon as possible and I cannot wait for next year

Love this yearly stay at the Hyatt Newport Beach! Rooms are extremely clean. Staff is amazing at the desk, in reservations and back offices, in the restaurants, in the bar, valets and in housekeeping. I appreciate all that the staff does over and above!

Buyer be aware. I booked 2 Bay rooms almost 2 months prior to my arrival only to learn that the area of the building was called Bay ...but there was no bay or view of a bay. Buyer be aware. I booked 2 Bay rooms almost 2 months prior to my arrival only to learn that the area of the building was called Bay ...but there was no bay or view of a bay. Not a good way to start a business trip. This is definitely as misleading as misleading can be. Our room was located at the very end of a horse shoe shaped complex with a very large pool area and water slides in the center …and yes, with the loud music playing and the yelling and screaming that goes on when kids are having fun. Perhaps they should consider calling it Kids Cove. Not a good setting for conducting business. I informed the front desk to please change our rooms since this is a very large hotel with many other areas not located in front of the kid’s pool but they informed me that I had booked a Bay Room (This is when I learned it was the name of the hotel area) and that they had no more rooms available ...very strange to believe considering is a large hotel, considering I’m a Hyatt Member since 2010 and had even booked our stay using my Amex Platinum Card. On top of these, I was charged $40 dollars a night for overnight parking, plus an additional $40٫00 Hotel resort fee (This must be for the free loud Music Experience), plus a Visitors tax, a Newport Beach tax, and Tourism Assessment fee. So be prepared to pay an additional third of the cost of the advertise room rate for all of these other taxes and fees. If you are not from California and are not aware of how heavily they tax you there …you will feel ripped off by the time you leave. I do not write reviews but felt compelled to write about this experience. Quite different than the experience I just had at the Hyatt in Milan where I had just come from the week prior. Read less

The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked – the chef really knows what they’re doing! We were celebrating my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a cake and a handwritten card. The cake was light, delicious, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. The pool and spa were very relaxing, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. My dog also had a great time – this place is super dog-friendly and perfect for walks. Plus, they even had a car charger for my Tesla! We felt so spoiled and taken care of – truly a luxury experience. Next time, we’re definitely staying longer. Highly recommend! Read less
