Daring to be different, this is fast becoming recognised as one of the hippest hotels in Hollywood. As chic and playful as the city that surrounds it, Dream Hollywood is dressed for the red carpet – from the fresh dove-whites of its lobby and gadget-stuffed guest rooms, to the sheer opulence of its dining and drinking venues. Winning the Oscar for best-dressed set is The Rooftop at the Dream, an off-the-charts rooftop venue that brings together a spectacular cast: a contemporary Californian menu, handcrafted cocktails, a swanky rooftop pool with private cabanas, and views out to the Hollywood sign.

I stayed at Dream Hollywood recently and was required to pay a $600 security deposit, which the staff assured me would be fully refunded after checkout—assuming no damage or issues. I followed all the rules, left the room in perfect condition, and caused no problems during my stay. To my surprise, I was only refunded £299 (around $405), meaning the hotel withheld $195 with no explanation whatsoever. I received no notice of any charges, no receipts, no damage claims—absolutely nothing to justify this deduction. Despite contacting them, I’ve yet to receive a clear reason or resolution. This has been frustrating and disappointing, especially from a hotel under the Hyatt brand, where I expected transparency and professionalism. If you choose to stay here, be extremely cautious about the deposit. Take photos of the room before and after, and request everything in writing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise future guests to be wary of the deposit policy. Read less
Love This Hotel!

The location is perfect, the hotel itself is beautiful; from the lobby, to the lifts, to the spacious and clean rooms. All amazing! The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The rooftop pool and bar is amazing, I just wish we’d spent some more time up there - but when you have the walk of fame right round the corner it’s hard to!

The room was great in size. First time here and was greeted by Joseph at the front desk both at check in and check out. Great service, he made sure my first time here was memorable. I would definitely recommend to others and come here again for the views as well as amenities

Ideally located close to, but not too close to, where we wanted to be. Walking distance from the busy Hollywood Boulevard but, far enough away to be quite & not busy. Nice looking hotel with really nice rooms + a lovely roof top restaurant & pool with friendly & helpful staff. Also there’s a great restaurant door named Tau.
