As soon as you arrive, you’ll see the natural stone and soothing wood panelling, like a giant Alpine-style retreat. This one overlooks the picturesque Sierra mountain range and Lake Tahoe. You can even enjoy these views from the picture windows in your room which, handily, is soundproofed to make sure you get a good night’s sleep. You may need it after exploring Heavenly's trails. Plus there’s so much to do here, from gambling in the casino and taking in one of the shows, to dining in fabulous restaurants (or in the all-you-can-eat buffet if you’re really hungry!). If all that sounds far too strenuous by half, fear not. The spa treatments, steam room, heated pool and sauna are all perfect for relaxing.

10 Stars with Deep gratitude to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe!

We saw Jefferson Starship in the showroom and used valet parking. Our seats weren't actually wheelchair accessible as expected-- but the staff handled it with grace and quickly moved us to even better ones. When I realized we'd left my wife's oxygen machine in the car, valet brought the car up immediately--no stress, just pure kindness. And… Read more

Our seats weren't actually wheelchair accessible as expected-- but the staff handled it with grace and quickly moved us to even better ones. When I realized we'd left my wife's oxygen machine in the car, valet brought the car up immediately--no stress, just pure kindness. And then...the team member who helped us returned during the show and invited us to move up one row at the railing for a clear view! From beginning to end, we felt seen, supported, and genuinely cared for. Thank you, Harrah's! You made our night unforgettable. I would give the entire experience 10+ stars! Read less
Never returning to Harah's Lake Tahoe - Very sad
مايو 30, 2025Ronda H
I so very sad to write this review as Harah's Tahoe used to be where my husband and I loved to go for so many years. I would like to point out that the people were wonderful and friendly; however, the following was beyond bad. No room service, refrigerator in room was broken, sink in bathroom did not drain, shower head sprayed water all over the… Read more

I would like to point out that the people were wonderful and friendly; however, the following was beyond bad. No room service, refrigerator in room was broken, sink in bathroom did not drain, shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom, lights above bed buzzed, when cashing in your tickets at the casino they keep your change, restaurants were "permanently" closed yet they still had adds up for them, elevator panels were broken and missing, elevator floor indicator lights were broken, vending machines did not work, bath fans did not work, furniture was falling apart. This was very sad to see such an icon being thrown away. I will never return. Read less
Fair

Casino was good size yet very smoky. Decent variety of restaurants (yet many employees just standing around outside the cafe looking bored). Temperature in the casino was fair. Good location near docks, beaches, and hiking trails. Worth giving another try.
Awesome staff made for a great getaway, we will be back!

We loved our stay. I do agree the hotel is in need of updating and it is in fact going through that now. I think it will kick up in high gear once Harvey’s is done. The staff here was amazing everyone we were in contact with were awesome. The two bathrooms is fantastic and the huge closet , the room was very comfortable for us the window even opens a bit ( not a fan of sealed buildings so this was a big plus for us.) We ate at Sapori and Friday station both were incredible Sapori the food , the service by Emma very attentive without bothering us. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and she brought out a special chocolate mousse with a candle. Great touch Emma. Friday station did not disappoint, Tony’s “ enthusiasm” was amazing Tony really made our night special. Give both these servers a raise they deserve it. We will be back, thanks Harrah’s for a great getaway! Read less
Very Disappointing

This hotel is long past due for refurbishment. Although our room was designated non-smoking it was heavily tainted and unpleasant. This hotel is long past due for refurbishment. Although our room was designated non-smoking it was heavily tainted and unpleasant. As soon as we returned home after a one night's stay, I had to launder everything we took with us. The desk was bubbled with prior water damage, the cabinet door on the refrigerator was hanging off and the furnishings generally look tired. However, the wait staff in Friday's Station were extremely pleasant and our meal was excellent. It is unfortunate that Nevada still allows smoking in rooms and the casino and it is one of the main reasons we will not be back. Read less
