I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a great part of town and is very comfortable. The room was extremely clean and well taken care of, the staff and security made sure that I was not worried about anything during my stay. There is even a really convenient CVS vending machine for just about anything you could need over the counter.

A disappointing stay. Not worth the $400+ room rate. Check in staff promised an email message when room was ready...never happened. No bag to room service was offered. Breakfast offered at an extra $40 per guest for a very average buffet. Coffee and tea pods in room but virtually no sugar and creamer. Only cups in room were paper take out cups… Read more

Our family recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston while attending a graduation, and the entire experience was outstanding. The hotel’s location made it easy for us to get to various graduation events as well as enjoy some of the best parts of Boston during our visit. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist — which made a busy, emotional week feel relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, allowing us to unwind after each day of celebrations. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, despite the hotel being quite busy. The hotel’s amenities were excellent, and having a well-equipped fitness center was a nice bonus for a quick workout in the mornings. The lobby and common areas were always clean and inviting, providing great spaces for our family to gather. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Boston was the perfect home base for our graduation week. We are grateful for the excellent hospitality and highly recommend this hotel for both family visits and special occasions. Read less

Unfortunately, our experience at this property fell short of expectations. Our room was not ready at the 4:00 PM check-in time, and when we approached the front desk, the representative offered no apology or explanation, just a brief comment that housekeeping hadn’t finished and that we should wait for a text notification. Over 30 minutes later, with no text received, I returned to the desk to check on the status. The same representative handed me the room keys and a couple of wooden tokens without any explanation or acknowledgment of the delay. We later discovered the tokens were for redeeming soup at the restaurant, but the restaurant was closed for construction and no information was provided, so we were unable to use them or dine at the hotel. Additionally, our reservation included a small member perk item, but nothing was mentioned or provided at check-in. Overall, this was the most disappointing customer service experience I’ve had with the Hyatt brand. The lack of communication, care, and hospitality was truly disheartening and did not reflect the standard I’ve come to expect. It would have made a meaningful difference to receive more professional and considerate treatment from the front desk team. A warm welcome, along with clear communication about the hotel amenities and offerings, would have gone a long way in helping us feel valued and set the tone for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, we felt more like an inconvenience than a guest, which was disappointing. We hope future guests are met with the level of hospitality and attentiveness typically associated with the Hyatt brand. Read less
