The hotel

A gem of a hotel, the spectacular Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has a wealth of amenities. Guests can enjoy a total of six swimming pools, including two exclusively for children (happily set in the shade!) and one solely for adults. There’s a choice of rooms and suites, including Club rooms with access to the Club Lounge with benefits such as premium alcohol served from 12:00pm-10:00pm and five food presentations! The hotel's Italian restaurant Splendido is something of a local legend. But don't miss Amaseena, their magical tented Bedouin village set right beside the sea, serving traditional regional specialities that can be enjoyed whilst listening to the haunting background strains of the oud and the tabla. As all first-class hotels in Dubai do, this hotel overlooks its own stretch of private beach, where pristine white sands are lapped gently by azure waters. A wonderful place to relax, topping up your tan perhaps, indulging in a variety of water sports or simply reading that book you’ve been wanting to for ages now! 294 rooms and suites. All with private balcony or patio, air-conditioning, flat-screen 47" LCD TV, DVD players, complimentary WiFi access, iPod docking station, mini-bar*, safe, separate rain shower and over-sized bath tubs, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer. 

Deluxe Rooms are located on floors 1-3 with pool or garden views, and either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 people. 

Half Board includes: breakfast and a 3-course meal for either lunch or dinner available at the following restaurants and bars:

-Gulf Pavilion (lunch)

- Caravan (buffet breakfast)

- Splendido (dinner)

- La Baie (lunch - dinner)

- Blue Jade (dinner)

- Amaseena (dinner. Half Board supplement of AED 100 per adults, AED 50 for kids 5-12 years)

Half Board package includes Dine Around by More Cravings, allowing you to dine at over 120 participating restaurants in the UAE (advance reservations are mandatory and can be made through the hotel concierge. Each restaurant will offer either a set menu, buffet or provide dining credit of AED150pp. Children below 12 years eat free).

Ocean Deluxe King/Queen rooms, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children (undr 11٫99 years).

Club Garden King rooms offer resort views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children (undr 11٫99 years).

Club Ocean King/Queen rooms face the sea, maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children (undr 11٫99 years).

One Bedroom Suites feature resort views from the two balconies, a spacious living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

One Bedroom Gulf Suites are larger in size, with views of the pool, gardens or Arabian Gulf, separate living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Club One Bedroom Ocean Suites are located on higher floors, with Arabian sea views from the furnished balcony, separate living area, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Family Rooms consist of one bedroom with a king-size bed and the other within 2 queen-size beds, with two bathrooms and private balcony or patio offering partial sea views. Sleeps a maximum of 8 people (max 6 adults).

Family Suite is larger in size than the family room, still with a king room and a second bedroom with 2 queen-size beds, two private bathrooms and a spacious balcony/patio space offering partial sea views. Sleeps a maximum of 8 people (max 6 adults).

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai – a truly family-friendly resort that made our vacation seamless and memorable. From multiple swimming pools to a stunning private beach, the property offers plenty of space and activities for kids to enjoy. The hotel goes above and beyond with thoughtful children’s amenities and a variety of dining options, including healthy meals tailored for younger guests. The level of hospitality was exceptional, nothing was ever too much trouble, even if I was requesting bananas to be hung in a bag on my door at 10.30pm the night before an early morning flight for my baby!! We felt genuinely welcomed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially recommend booking Club Access. A huge thank you to the amazing team in the Club Lounge, Keshav, Mariam, and the Amanseena team, for their warm service and attention to detail during both our visits, not to mention our server at Blue Jade who was super attentive and the amazing team at the kids club! The location is great, the resort is so big that you don’t even feel like you are in the heart of JBR! The half board dine-around option was a fantastic bonus, giving us the chance to explore different restaurants with ease. I can’t recommend Amanseena, Splendido and Indeya by Vineet enough! Booked for my birthday, wanted somewhere refined but without the hustle and bustle of the Palm hotels. I wasn't disappointed. We booked through emerates and didn't go for one of the suites or club rooms, although it was tempting! We had a ground floor garden view room, which was really well appointed. All the staff were great, unfortunately I can't remember everyone's name but Elsa in the library bar was always very welcoming and made sure we were really looked after (recomend the Ken 75 cocktail but make sure the bar tenderer uses the smoker to serve it as some didn't). All the restaurants were good, Blue Jade, Amasceena, Splendido, La Baie, we tried them all and were not disappointed. The caravan was great for breakfast and had lots of choices. It also served until almost lunchtime, so we never missed after a late night/lazy morning! Again all the staff were brilliant. Got to mention house keeping, everything spotless, they got to know our pattern so our room was always fresh and tidy on our return, thanks to Suman, Zubare (sorry if I've got the spelling wrong). In summary, it's a great hotel, location good for marina, beach, Palm etc but if you want to visit all the sites in old town, Dubia Mall etc you will have to accept a lot of travelling and the roads can get really busy, all 6 lanes! The journey of exceptional service began before we even arrived and continued seamlessly through Sebastian's polished check-in process. The beachfront staff, with Irwan being particularly noteworthy, delivered attentive service under the warm Dubai sun. This property boasts a remarkably tranquil private beach that feels worlds away from the energy of JBR despite being centrally located. Mornings delighted with a breakfast spread that combined vast variety with five-star quality. The Guest Experience Team deserves recognition for their thoughtfulness, as does the immaculate Housekeeping department. What distinguishes this gem from Dubai's other luxury properties is their investment in proper staff training - resulting in team members who don't just smile, but truly anticipate and fulfill your needs with precision. Thank you to Raju and Lisa. We had a wonderful brunch with Feb best service. It was very good food, great music and in a lovely little conservatory area which had it feel like you are outdoors whilst you are cooled by the AC. Great live music and the most amazing food.
