Hotel was beautiful and all staff were great. Little things like remembering your drinks, room number, pulling down your covers at night and ensuring every need was met. Pool was great. Pool staff always met your needs. There was 1 particular member of staff Hithesh. He would go above and beyond to ensure you were welcomed. He was based at main… Read more

We always use the infinity pool and just love the swim up bar and all the team were great and got to know what we liked to drink. This hotel for us is our number one we have been to and we look forward to our fifth trip soon. Read less

A warm welcome awaits as you enter the Hotel, reception are keen to check you in promptly whilst you enjoy a nice cold drink. We stayed in a Club room and it was faultless, Club rooms are definitely our favourite room. The rooms are well stocked with a fridge, bottles of water and bathroom amenities and fruit. The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and the nicest shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the Marina and perfectly placed on the beach. Due to many food allergies we ate every night at Brasserie 2٫0 - the vast selection of food is amazing. Manpreet K in the restaurant is a delight, warmly greeting us each morning with a sunny smile, whilst always remembering our name and room number. Abhi M is a lovely young lady who undertook the task of ensuring my allergy meals were requested and it was nice to chat on a personal level too. Prebbu the chef is a warm caring young man who cooks the best steak and asparagus! Prashanth D works very hard around the pool area, ensuring I came home with a good tan! Midhun, a top smiler and always ready to assist. Anshall cleaned our room each day and was brilliant at topping up our supplies. You just can't go wrong with this hotel although I would like to see the restaurant open earlier (as we like to go for an evening walk or a quiz night) and a nice Hotel Fragrance wafting around the hotel would be nice (if they've got one I can never smell it!). We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 weeks in the Club Tower - the rooms were a great size, and very well designed - large corner sofa too! We stayed HB so had the use of facilities and restaurants at GH too which was fabulous. I cannot speak highly enough about the service at this hotel - it is the best I have experienced anywhere in the world, the staff cannot do enough. While we were there my son and husband decided to book twilight golf at the Emirates Faldo course, once call to guest services and it was all arranged for us. The shuttle bust taking us whenever we needed over to Grosvenor House is fabulous too, they really have thought of everything. From the minute we entered this hotel on arrival until the day we left, we were treated like royalty - and I genuinely mean that. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are incredibly polite and helpful, going out of their way every single time to ensure you are happy and enjoying your stay. The spa also needs a special mention - incredible! We will return again next year no doubt as anywhere else just wont match this! Read less

The hotel itself is one of Dubai’s originals — built in the mid-90s, long before the skyline turned into a forest of glass towers. It’s a low-rise property (just 15 floors), which means it enjoys something very rare in Dubai: space. The hotel sits on 19 acres of landscaped gardens that lead down an expansive beach area, giving it a resort-like feel that’s hard to come by in the city. We stayed in the Royal Club Tower, which I’d highly recommend. The rooms are beautifully refurbished and the Royal Club rooms come with fantastic complimentary extras — a quiet breakfast lounge, afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes, and pre-dinner drinks with canapés and hot food. It’s exceptional value, especially considering how pricey alcohol is in Dubai. But again, it wasn’t just the offering — it was the way it was delivered that made all the difference. A number of top-end hotels offer a butler service and it’s not usually a service I call upon. However, this time it was needed! Halfway through our stay, I’d arranged for us to try another hotel — purely to experience a different property given my role as a travel director. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a poor decision: ongoing construction next door made it unbearable. We quickly returned to Le Royal Méridien — only to realise we’d left our passports, valuables, and cash in the other hotel’s safe. Cue panic. This is where the butler team stepped in. They handled everything swiftly and professionally, calling the other hotel, liaising with staff, arranging transport, and making sure our belongings were safely returned. Their calm, capable approach took all the stress out of a potentially messy situation. From that point on, we were on first-name terms with the butlers — especially Fahad, who’s been with the hotel for over a decade and exemplifies what five-star hospitality should look like. A fantastic stay. Read less
