We stayed in this fantastic hotel in May for three nights . It was a dream of mine to stay in Burj Al Arab , since I for the very first time heard of this hotel.. It was a fantastic present from my husband .. Let’s start with the positive things . The hotel is absolutely stunning inside . The interior is out of this world gorgeous. Our Suite could not have been more breathtaking. It was a duplex suite and absolutely luxurious. It has all what I could ever have dreamt of . It was the most fantastic hotel suite I have ever stayed in. The service in the whole hotel and the butler was amazing and absolutely top. Absolutely 7 star worthy.. We had dinner in three of the restaurants and the most impressive was the L’ Olivo at Al Mahara . I have never in my life seen a restaurant so breathtaking and I have never seen so gorgeous served food . I will never forget this experience. The food was top notch . Our waiter Luca was so amazing . So kind and so pleasant . We got the most beautiful table direct by the amazing Aquarium. A dream come true, that will stay in my heart forever . I cannot recommend this restaurant enough . It was unreal fantastic. We also had dinner at the 27 th floor. Amazing . Fantastic food and such a beautiful restaurant. The service was also here fantastic. An unforgettable experience. Our dinner in the orient restaurant was o. k. The food was good? but I personally don’t think that a buffet suits a 7 star hotel and I also found the fact that some Chinese guest were sitting in very small shorts and a kind of beach shoes a little kind of strange .. A little dress code would have been nice .. But whatever .. Now I have to mention a couple of things that are big and I mean very big No Go, s in a 7 star hotel , where guests are paying about 2٫000 euros per night and more.. These are the things that are the reason, why I didn’t give 5 stars . The pool should be exclusive for hotel Guest. That is what I expect as a Guest, when I pay around 2000 Euros per night to stay in this hotel . I was more than shocked as we Saturday arrived and went to the pool. I thought I had arrived in a 3 star hotel in Spain .. The sunbeds very very tight , it felt like if all the worlds influencers and show off people, had came to this pool on that day . Music as loud as if I was trying to relax in a dance club . DJ playing house music so loud that I couldn’t understand what the poolside said . Relaxing no chance . To be honest I just wanted to leave . I asked a little around and found out that the biggest part of these people wasn’t hotel guest . It was young people paying a Daypass to use the pool. Absolutely terrible . The pool was full of those people . Drinking beer the whole day, dancing and behaving like if they were in some kind of camp or 2 star hotel in Spain .. Posing in String Tangas the whole day. That was not was I expected in a 7 star luxury hotel . Sorry Jumeirah but this is a big No.. keep your pool exclusive for your hotel guest and don’t play music so loud that a conversation is almost impossible just to satisfy this clubbing scene .. We came to relax in an exclusive atmosphere, not to party with 500 YouTubers .. Sunday was a little better and Monday was a relief . I suspect that most of the YouTubers and party people are coming Saturday. The next no go is the tours with tourist inside the hotel . I know you try to keep it low, but it is just not right . Mostly Asian tourist with, sorry, no behavior. People who are paying a huge amount of money to stay in your hotel , don’t want big groups of tourists running around taking pictures , laying bare foot on your chairs in the lobby etc. The breakfast buffet was very small for such a hotel . I compared it with the buffets in your other hotels in Dubai and the one I Burj Al Arab is definitely the smallest . The outside area was also a little disappointing. Had nothing to do with the glory and luxury of the Hotel .. We loved staying inside the hotel . I will never forget these three days, the beauty of the hotel interior, the restaurants and the amazing service , but pool with the loudness and the tourist coming from outside was a big No Go and will stay in my mind as a negative experience, that I don’t want wenn I am staying in your hotel .
