The hotel

Anantara’s latest 5-star edition is located on the fantastic Palm Jumeirah and perfectly combines contemporary Asian flair with world-class facilities on this peaceful part of the palm. One Bedroom Overwater Villas are perched over the beautiful waters of the Arabian Gulf and are the first of their kind in Dubai! They have 1 king-size bed and living area, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.Anantara 2-Bedroom Beach Pool Villa with private pool, master en-suite bedroom with 1 king-size bed, additional twin bedroom and separate living room, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.  

Apartment Residence (North Tower only), 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments are located in the Anantara Residences (North and South Tower), adjacent to the resort, with modern kitchens and spacious interior, leading onto a large balcony spanning the entire width of the apartment offering views of the Arabian Gulf. Apartments have either resort pool and Palm views, or sea and city skyline views, walk-in rain shower. 1 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 2 adults and 2 children/infants (each child in an extra bed or each infant in a baby cot) or 3 adults and 1 child. 2 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 4 adults and 2 children, or 6 adults with 5th and 6th adult extra charge.

So this is our second visit to the hotel, sadly we had a few issues on our last stay and was asked to return to show that it was a one off. So we returned in May for a 6 night stay, I have to be honest and say we did have the same issue on our first day…..But Zarifa the hotel manager was quick to respond and rectify this. She def went above and beyond to make sure the remainder of our stay was perfect and it really was! The hotel itself is beautiful and the beach is absolutely stunning. The hotel ground staff do not stop and the hotel is immaculately clean, the house keeping are on point aswell and nothing is to much trouble for them.There is a very relaxed feel to this hotel and is so easy to just chill. We had a lagoon access room and it didn’t disappoint, steps straight into the pool was perfect with the heat and a nice touch is a man comes by on a little boat selling cocktails and drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food at breakfast is hugely varied, fresh and plenty of it, my favourite is the cinnamon roll, had seconds every morning with a coffee. Mekong is one of the best Asian dining we have ever had and again the staff are fantastic. Bushman’s is also amazing and I had the best steak I have ever eaten there, the manager Carla went above and beyond for us and really made the night special. The lotus lounge is a great bar with a happy hour each day and we often went there for some lovely cocktails to watch the sunset. All in all this is a great hotel and would thoroughly recommend it. We spent a week at Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort and had the most incredible experience. We stayed in a Premier Lagoon Access Room and I can’t recommend it enough – being able to swim straight out from our room into the peaceful lagoon pool was such a luxury and made the stay even more relaxing. We were celebrating both our birthdays during the trip, and the staff went above and beyond by decorating our bed and surprising us with a delicious chocolate cake. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our celebration extra special. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. We booked on a half-board basis, which included breakfast and a choice of either lunch or dinner. The resort offers five dining options, including a large buffet and several à la carte restaurants. The food was consistently excellent, with plenty of variety and generous portions. The buffet had an amazing selection and was beautifully presented. A special highlight for us was Bushman’s Steakhouse – not only was the food superb, but they let you choose your steak knife before the meal, which added a unique touch to the experience! The resort itself is spotless, and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The beachfront is stunning – soft sand, clear water, and plenty of space to relax. It’s also very easy to get a taxi from right outside the hotel, which made exploring Dubai stress-free. If you’re considering a stay on The Palm, we highly recommend Anantara. From the room, to the food, to the service – everything exceeded our expectations. We’re already dreaming of returning! Read less

We have just returned from Anantara Resort and it was truly amazing. We had a wonderful time and are feeling very sad to have left. We had the lagoon view room which was a good size for a family of 4 (children ages 9 and 12). The beds were so big and comfortable. I think I slept better there than I have at home. The bathroom was massive with a shower you could have a party in. Food was amazing also; so much choice. Even my fussy 9 year old found something to eat. I think he was the crepe man’s main customer during our stay. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The only criticism I have was that we were on a half board package and to have drinks with our dinner it cost £12 for two cokes. We were in shock at the price. They were only normal size cans which was crazy. This was a disappointment and felt this put a bit of a dampener on our meals. Overall we had an amazing holiday and will definitely return one day. It was a beautiful clean hotel with amazing stuff. Please please review your soft drink prices. Read less
