Designed by the French designer Camille Walala, SALT of Palmar showcases bold, colourful patterns and a vibrant aesthetic blending contemporary design elements with a mix of Mauritian cultural influences. Food is big deal around here too, with a focus on fresh, organic, and seasonal produce, much of which comes from its own farm or nearby sources. All with Carpe Diem bed with 100% organic cotton linens, private balcony or terrace, organic coffee robes, locally-made toiletries, Roberts Radio, tea/coffee-making facilities, telephone, safe, hairdryer, complimentary filtered water, and Yogi Bare yoga mat and blocks. Garden View Rooms are 360-400 sq ft and have views of the filao trees on the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. Twin room available, on request.

Full Board option: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Poolside Rooms are 325-400 sq ft and are located right by the pool, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Bang on Beach Rooms are 330-360 sq ft and are located facing out to the Indian Ocean, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. Twin room available, on request.
Pool Plus Rooms are 500 sq ft and overlook the pool, beach and ocean, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Best on Beach Rooms are 510 sq ft and boast incredible ocean views and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
The Good Kitchen (fresh local food inspired by the Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Mauritian flavours, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). SALT Bakery (light bites and coffee). The Rooftop Bar. The Beach (Mauritian snacks, and cocktails made from seasonal fruits, and fresh herbs). The Pool Bar.

We have never experienced such guests friendly and kind environment as we have found in hotel Salt of Palmar. Very clean and comfortable rooms, clean swimming pool with heated water and always enough umbrellas, sun loungers and clean towels on the beach. A large selection of ala carte food and drinks of excellent quality, prepared as a unique experience for you. Although we had all inclusive services, it is very different from large hotels with buffets and an impersonal atmosphere. The family approach of the management and service will prepare you for a great unforgettable holiday. Many thanks to Palmar team which prepared for us the unforgettable holiday week. Had the best sleep as the beds were super comfy and room was very quiet. Felt super healthy from the amazing food and daily free kombucha, not to mention the yoga sessions and spa treatment. The staff were also amazing, so friendly and helpful. Definitely highly recommend this place.

We are currently staying at the Salt of Palmar Hotel and can’t fault it . From the moment we arrived and were welcomed to a stunning view of the central 25m pool and turquoise sea we knew we were going to like it. The staff are all wonderful - both friendly and attentive especially Med, Dev and Bishav who literally can’t do enough for us . The food is what drew us to the hotel in the first place and has been 100% up to expectations and last night the Tek Tek private dining experience was off the scale and prepared for just 8 of us with our own private chef . The stay at SALT of Palmar is pure pleasure. It is an extremely guest-orientated location, super tidy and smart arranged - from the infrastructure of the rooms to the overall buildings located at the site. A lot of special possibilities await to be enjoyed by the guests and the access to the beach and the inside pool with all the sunchairs give an astonishing feeling of freedom. SALT of Palmar is located very delicate to explore the island from here on. You can easily rent a car or a scooter, the staff of the hotel will help you out with any plans you might have. Generally speaking, all the members of the hotel are the best of our stay and their friendliness, professionality and calm, helping and caring way is absolute peaktime treatment.
