Located on a private island in Raa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by complimentary seaplane transfer (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

We captured countless memorable moments through photos. One of the most delightful surprises was the thoughtful “Happy Honeymoon” decoration they arranged on our bed—it made us feel truly cherished and welcomed. The staff here were all exceptionally kind, especially our host, Archala. He was not only professional but also genuinely warm and attentive, doing his best to accommodate all our requests. The dine around concept was special, eating at a different place each night was lovely, each providing a different type of cuisine. The buffet at Raaya Life was also incredible, there was nothing that was the same and each day there was an option to eat something different. You could also request anything your heart desired to eat and they would make it for you. Thanks to the head chef, Suriya. The spa was incredible and left us feeling very relaxed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Sangeeta, Mo and Alex for looking after us so well. There are many activities that one can participate in, mini golf, snorkelling, skate park, paddle tennis etc. The attention to detail was impeccable and we absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Everything was perfect. We loved the honeymoon dinner, floating breakfast and the complete body massage. All the staff are super professionally and we would really like to come again to this Raaya resort. Also snorkeling from our room with pool is a very incredible experience

Fluent in several languages he is truly an asset to Raaya. All staff were so welcoming and friendly, particular shout out to Mo, Pappu and Mohan at the main restaurant and Sangeeta at Ampersand and the main bar tender at Seb Shack ably supported by a talented young chef (apologies but I don’t get his name but I also spotted how hard he was working everyday at the buffet) The food was phenomenal at all restaurants. We visited the spa twice and that too was fabulous too! The only minor suggestions I would make which I think others have mentioned previously was to make more use of the roof top bar at ampersand. It should be a focal point but seems to be underutilised and poorly lit at night. The resort also needs more bikes. Read less
