Non-motorised water sports are included for 15 minutes a day, as is use of the over-water gym, so those who like to keep active will have lots to enjoy. This is a fun, lively island with lots going on including the daily DJ around the pool and live bands in the evening, but if you fancy making your stay even more special, why not head underneath it? Where is it

Located on Ailafushi Island in Male Atoll, and connected to the neighbouring island OBLU SELECT Lobigili by a 270m long jetty. Complimentary speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport on arrival and departure, taking approximately 15 minutes.

Hotel information

268 rooms, all with ocean views, in-villa WiFi access, safe, large flat screen LCD TV, cable TV, vanity, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, drinking water bottles, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and robe and slippers. Ocean View Rooms are snug, homey, duplex-style one-bedroom villas, smartly designed to maximise space and comfort, and with a veranda with comfy daybed. Beach Villas are just a few steps from the beach, with a private outdoor veranda and garden, inviting interior, walk-in wardrobe leading to a spa-like bathroom, double vanity, and a semi open-air bathroom. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Water Villas stretch into the dazzling lagoon, and are accessed by wooden jetty. Each water villa is shaped like a traditional Maldivian Boat – a ‘dhoni’ – creating a feeling of a romantic hideaway. With a private deck, and a staircase into the water, and a semi open-air bathroom. 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Ocean Family Two Bedrooms are the same as the Ocean View Rooms, with the addition of a second bedroom with bunkbeds in a story book theme for children, 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Brilliant resort for families, couples and newly weds. The resort caters to our every need from variety of food, activities, blue ocean and sights. Rooms are regularly cleaned (thanks Shammu for taking care of our room). Overall id definitely come back again for the wonderful hospitality and amenities this place provides.

The overall experience was fabulous by all staff and resort Bapuji, rosa and mr bikash were amazing bar tenders called my daughter princess great service. Summa was amazing receptionist my my daughters older double Irina was a good at Elena spa Kids club staff were amazing great facilities

Just returned from 7 nights staying in a beach villa 21/5--28/5 While waiting for the speed boat , we were checked in and given our room numbers ( probably helped by checking in on the app prior to arrival nice touch The speedboat was excellent and 15 odd minutes we arrived at the island A quick welcome meeting and keys given off to room no waiting cases dropped off later Beach villa nice as expected but the floor had seen better days and needs replacing ( 403 ) before some cuts a foot . Air con in room was good and very welcoming as there is none around bar or Restaurant apart from the salad /cake section the humidity was around 80% so every thing sticks to you ,brits are not used to this so a nice dip to cool off sorted that Buggy transport around the island nice touch if your room is a distance away . Water slide is a good laugh , shuts a low tide , never used any of the available Water sports , over priced ,if you like snorkelling bring your own as you only get 15 minutes then charged , Lookout for the Parrot at the water sports desk he's funny The beach is rough and broken coral best wear flip flops to water edge Pool was nice, plenty of beds and never any issues getting 1 , some people have complained about how loud it is around pool , we Didn,t find it like that at all the only time the music is loud was for about half hour when Zumba was on then just back ground music Definitely do the shark trip and the guides take videos and send them direct to your phones on the way back (free) We also did the afternoon snorkelling trip to another islands reef , turtle was seen The lagoon is full of fish / sharks / rays Food was ok , I was curried out by the end of the week but , but plenty of variety and always hot The Under water restaurant is a must food was excellent as was the service and staff Bar/drinks were ok they also have fridges that contain cans of various soft drinks and 1 has beers just help your self 👍 Night life , seen better . We swapped rooms half way through week to an over water villa as they were available 3 nights £143 well worth it all in all worth the money for 7 nights will go back to the Maldives but to another island Read less

The scenic views from our villa were simply breathtaking, and the tranquil ocean surroundings added a special charm to our celebration. We were especially impressed by the culinary experience. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Taj, who treated us to a delicious array of Indian cuisine — from authentic South Indian dishes to a flavorful Chicken Dum Biryani that reminded us of home. The Pan-Asian cuisine, crafted beautifully by the lady chef, was also exceptional and full of fresh, bold flavors.
