We spent 7 nights at Constance Moofushi and we can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful vacations we've ever had. From the very first moment, we felt like we had arrived in paradise—and that feeling stayed with us until the very end. The accommodation was luxurious and immaculately maintained. The minibar was restocked twice daily, beds perfectly made, everything cleaned, polished, and smelling amazing. The attention to detail was incredible. On World Turtle Day, we were surprised with a beautiful artwork on our bed, and a lovely farewell decoration on our last day as well. This level of service is truly top-notch. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. From the welcoming smiles at the reception to the attentive waiters who noticed your glass was empty before you did—everyone was committed to making our stay flawless. The food was absolutely divine! Each dinner featured a different cuisine theme—Maldivian, Italian, Asian, and more. And the dinner at Alizée restaurant, right on the beach with the sound of the ocean in the background, was unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Master Chefs Mr. Phrianta Don and Mr. Indunil for their outstanding culinary creations. The wine cellar holds some incredible treasures—thanks to sommeliers Mr. Ko-Ko and Mr. Nitin, we had perfect wine pairings with every meal. The beach wine tasting was a romantic and delightful experience. Snorkeling and the boat excursion were simply amazing. Everything was managed with the highest sense of safety and comfort. The instructors in the water were fantastic—guiding us on what to watch for and keeping us together as a group. A special thank you goes to Mr. Luthinan, the resort manager, who personally greeted us and showed genuine care every single day. He even joined me for a sunrise run—this kind of personal touch is rare and deeply appreciated. We spent a week at Constance Moofushi for our honeymoon, and it was truly unforgettable. We stayed in a Senior Water Villa with a private deck and stairs that led straight into the crystal-clear sea. The villa was spotless, thanks to the amazing housekeeping team, and featured a bathtub with stunning ocean views. The food was consistently excellent, with themed dinners each night like ‘Asian Fusion’ and ‘Maldivian Delights’. I have a nut allergy and was impressed by how seriously it was taken—one chef was even assigned to ensure my meals were allergen-free. For a special treat, we dined at Alizée restaurant and enjoyed the best seafood we've ever had, including a private BBQ on the beach. The staff are what truly make Moofushi shine. Every single person was warm, attentive, and full of personality. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged guests to mingle naturally, adding to the welcoming vibe. The bar team created custom cocktails based on our preferences, and during a wine tasting with Geeth, we learned about pairings while small reef sharks swam around our feet—unreal! As weaker swimmers, we were grateful for Vinita’s support during snorkelling, which gave us the confidence to swim to the drop-off and spot sea turtles. Even near the villas, we saw mini mantas, an octopus, and more reef sharks in the bay. We also loved the sunset cruise with hors d'oeuvres and views over the turquoise sea. In the evenings, there were DJ nights, live local music, and a high-energy traditional drum performance by the staff, which brought all cultures together in celebration. 40% of guests rebook, and we’ll definitely be returning when we’re in the region again. Moofushi combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and genuine warmth. I can't recommend it enough! We’d like to say a massive thank you to the following people, they all took such amazing care of us and made us feel like family! We planned our next visit before we even left the island! Yana and Adil gave us such a warm welcome. Hassan, Sha, Saif and Nizz took such good care of us throughout the day and well into the evening, making sure we were well fed and watered. Ricky and Dumar made the best cocktails, with such attention to detail and even remembered our favorite drinks! Chef Daniel, we don’t even know where to begin, you took such good care of us, the beautiful dinner settings, seafood bbq, dinner on the waterfront and so much more. Our expectations were well and truly knocked out the park. Chef Hussain, Maneesha and Ragidha always ensuring I felt safe with the food on offer as a guest with a but allergy. I’d highly recommend the Constance Moofushi to anyone who enjoys great food and especially those with allergies. Geeth has made us wine connoisseurs, always available to answer our wine questions and picked the best wine pairings for each meal Vineta the islands Marine Biologist, taught us so much about the reef and the islands ecosystem. We felt so safe with her during the snorkeling trip. Imaz and Inaaz had our villa spotless, amenities always replenished, a beautiful welcome presentation on arrival and best of all the wonderful outdoor bath setup was to die for. What can I say, this resort was incredible. Not in a crazy luxurious way but in how amazing the people are who work here. The amazing humans who run this hotel and that you see each and every day are the reason this hotel is so wonderful. Personal recognition to the following amazing staff: Luti the EAM, nothing was too much for him, anything you needed he provided quickly and efficiently. Extremely hard worker and his efforts show in how smooth the resort works. Gopan and Saif, these two guys were endless smiling and chatty each and every day. Two amazing human beings where nothing is too much trouble. Vinita, the marine biologist, she was such a hard worker, trying to preserve the sea life and her little presentations were great! Juman on the video and photos, this guy is great. We did a photo package and we went above and beyond to make everything work perfectly, we will cherish those photos for years. JB at the gym was a super cool guy and we worked out together a few times. Full of knowledge and energy, exactly how a gym manager should be. hats off! The hotel itself is great, we had a senior villa 79 at the end of the pier and the sunset views each night were absolutely incredible. The room cleaning staff came twice a day and did a fantastic job. The marine biologist talks were awesome. The tours were great, food was delicious and had tons of choice or whatever you want. The wine list and drinks in the all inclusive package were insanely good, if you like cocktails and good wine included then this is the place for you. Transfers to and from Island were seamless and they have their own lounge which was very comfortable. I am trying to think of something that could use improvement and we had a couple issues that we felt could be improved relating to the scuba and reefs. -The scuba diving is way more expensive than anywhere we have gone diving. More than Bora Bora, Philippines, Thailand etc. The way they structure it is odd, price for a dive, then price for equipment then price for boat, it just seemed gougy and deceptive, the upsell push was intense. We did one dive and felt like the guide didn't care that much and that was the end for us. I am aware this is run separately from the resort so not so much a Constance thing. Most places quote cost for dive as one price. -The Chinese tourists seem to not care about sustainability or preserving the ocean or anything. I feel like they need a mandatory lesson on how to not destroy the coral living around the house reef and elsewhere. Numerous times I witnessed Chinese snorkelers and beginner divers literally shredding the coral with their fins or being dragged across the corals by the scuba instructor on intro dives and watching pieces of coral break off, it was heart breaking as I know how much work goes into preserving this house reef and regrowing the bleached corals. I feel like everyone going in the water should get a mandatory eco lecture prior to getting in the water. People come for the sea life, once these reefs are gone and destroyed, 80% of people will stop coming. The dive shop seems more about short term gain than long term sustainability. Anyways, we had a great time overall and will certainly come back next year if we can. Close to perfect vacation! Well Done! Read less

From home to home! It was the 3rd time that we stayed on our paradise island Moofushi. Therefore we expected already the best, but it was even much better than best and we were again so overwhelmed about the beauty, the charisma and the personality of this resort! Its somehow like living on a Robinson Crusoe island, but with max. luxury, kindness and hospitality. As described by all the other wonderful reviews, everything is perfectly organized. It starts when you are landing in Male and when you are leaving customs at the airport. Someone from the resort takes you by the hand and brings you to the Moofushi lounge which is located inside the Air Plane Terminal. There, you get your check-in for the Island Resort and within a couple of minutes later, you will find you already sitting in the little Air Taxi, which brings you to the Paradise within only 30 minutes. This time we managed to take our shoes of before we boarded the plane and we only pulled them back on our feet’s, when we got back to reality (with tears in our eyes) at the Air Plane Terminal after 14 days! No news, no shoes! This is not only a sentence or a phrase, it is a promise! What a wonderful barefoot Island. Two years ago, we stayed in the beach villa no. 18 and as this was our 25 wedding anniversary holiday, we were wondering, whether they could organize, to let us stay in this wonderful beach villa again. Needless to say, that they managed to fulfil our wish, which we very much appreciated! Thanks again to the Moofushi team. On the Island you can expect to experience the most wonderful holiday that you ever had. The meals are so delicious and various, independent if you will stay in the self-service restaurant Manta or in the A-la-carte restaurant Alizee. If you want, you will be seated directly at the seaside, where you can have a great dinner and where you can simultaneously watch fishes and sometimes little sharks, which are swimming in the sea only some meters away from your feet. You can choose your wine from a huge wine menu. If you ask the very experienced and friendly wine sommeliers, they will be more than happy to help you to get the right wine for you meals, which is sometimes very challenging, due to the great choice of different wines (Italy, South Africa, France…). You will get the best drinks and cocktails at the Manta or the Totem bar (at the beach), which the bar tenders will serve you in such a kind and perfect manner. It was always a pleasure to talk to them and being trained and advised how to mix these great cocktails. The villa was perfectly cleaned two times a day and the housekeepers pleased us with some work of art on our bed like “Welcome back” and “See you soon” which was made by leaves. The reef with it´s wonderful and colourful fishes and corals is surrounding the complete island. It´s just only some meters away from the beach and it´s very easy to get out for snorkelling (also for beginners) to see the underwater paradise. There is a coral and fish “spot” nearby the arrival jetty, with lots of clown fishes and sea anemones! You need to check this out! Just ask Vinita and she will guide you, to see the greatest places out in the reef. We managed to see a Manta, lots of sharks, turtles and eagle rays. We got the chance, to plant some corals and we deeply hope, that we can help to increase the size and the variety of this wonderful reef. Only after some minutes, we could already see may fishes surrounding the new coral cage which hopefully will give them a new home. Last but not least, we need to say, that it is especially the complete friendly and hearted Moofushi staff which makes it unique! All the employees are doing their utmost, to serve you with a maximum of hospitality and friendship every single day. We already miss the wonderful conversations with all these friendly people by a lot. We were invited to watch a Cricket game (Moofushi staff playing against another Island staff ), which was the greatest sport event we´ve seen for a long time! It was again a honor for us to stay with you on this paradise island. You can be sure, that in case we can manage to come back to the Maldives, Moofsushi will be our first and only choice. As we also had the opportunity to talk with lot of other guests, it turned out, that they also made the same decision, although they had already visited a lot of other resorts on the Maldives. Last week we came back from our “second” honeymoon in this paradise. We enjoyed our first stay/ Honeymoon in august 2024 so much that we had to go back and it felt like coming home! The way everybody welcomed us back again was very speciel. It was so thoughtful and we were very happy to stay in the same Water Villa as last time where we could now celebrate our 9 month wedding anniversary😍 Beautiful decorations on the bed made by the kind and smiling housekeeper and were also remembered in Alizee for dinner where they had a beautiful celebration cake for us! We really enjoyed the beautiful Water Villa with lovely view over the island and easy access to the House Reef which is excellent for snorkeling. It is so good to see what is done to protect/ recreate the corals and we spend many hours snorkeling. There are so many different beautiful colorful fish, eagle rays, octopus, turtles and reef sharks🐙🐠 The snorkeling Extravaganza tour was also great this time! We had to try something new this time and joined a Sunset Yoga class which was very good. We also spend some time at the gym where we had the great pleasure to meet and do some training with JB. He is a great guy and full of good inspiration 🤩 Once again we are amazed of the warmth, kind and positive attitude we get from ALL the staff not matter where we go on the island. That really makes Constance Moofushi SO speciel and extraordinary!! THANK YOU - Dream Team Moofushi - every single one of you - YOU are ALL the best❤️ We had so many good times with you… - Manta Restaurant - excellent buffet at all times and the most attentive and kind waiters, cooks and sommeliers - always got time for a chat. - Manta bar for fabulous cocktails and entertainment. Especially DD and DJ night - great music and dancing and Maldivian night with drummers and dance. - Wine Tasting - great wines, inspiration and entertainment from the great sommeliers in Madus team, surrounded by the little sharks when standing at the edge of the beach. - Alizee - great for celebration and very speciel dinner at the beach. - Totem bar - lovely lunches and cocktails - especially the cucumber one! - Lovely shop with the sweetest lady - Luthi - very attentive manager - stops to talk to all guests on his way around the island. - Hassan and your super team for a very speciel dinner on the beach. So fantastic to see you all again Binju, Yanti, Madu, Gopan, Hishan and so many more - we are not good at names - next time we will write them down 💕 Back in cold Denmark again friends and family ask us if we would like to go back again.
