Wow! When we landed at Male, we were shocked how helpful Maldivians were. Small things like all luggage neatly placed on the conveyor belt with handles facing up and staff asking if we needed help finding our hotel desk. Cinnamon staff took us straight to the seaplane desk and went through everything with us. He was very polite and helpful. The seaplane was straightforward and fun! 25 minutes to get to the island! We were greeted by a friendly member of staff and were taken to reception and given a welcome cold towel and fresh juice. Check in was very quick. We arrived at 11:25am and our sea villa was ready for us to use straight away. Our room was perfect - we had premium all inclusive and the mini bar was well stocked with alcohol, soft drinks, dairy milk and crisps. Our bed was decorated 3 out of the 6 nights and Afeef was just amazing! Thank you for your creativity! The restaurant was well ‘stocked’ and organised with so much choice of food. Everyone again, was very happy to help! Shout out to: Hameesh, Maan, Prasad and the Pancake boy! I think Sunara? Apologies! The restaurant staff are a credit to the team. I loved that staff would eat in the restaurant too as it really felt like a community. We had a meal on the beach and the service and food was sublime! The grounds were kept immaculate. Reception staff were so happy to help. Always asking how our trips were and what we saw, it felt as though they really cared. When we came to leave, Chameen was a superhero and was happy to help in every way he could. Another credit to the team! Thank you, Chameen. The bar staff were great and it was a bonus to use the Iru bar. A fantastic location. The Fen bar staff were awesome and always remembered our Baileys Chocolate milkshake! The Hama bar was pumping out tunes but had no other guest in there so didn’t stay long! I think they need better drink options as I didn’t really like any drinks on the menu :( happy DJ and bar staff though! The spa was incredible - we had the most amazing massage and ginger tea. The girls there were brilliant! The dolphin tours (we did 2!) were fantastic and we saw dolphins and pilot whales. We did the ‘all-in’ dive and swam with Manta-rays, turtles and sharks! Great value!
