The food was fabulous, with something for everyone. It's worth noting that a few things come at an extra cost, such as certain seafood dishes or drinking from a coconut. The staff were just lovely – especially the drivers who kindly took my husband and me wherever we needed to go, as I had injured my foot and couldn't walk much (special thanks to Verna <3). The waiters were also incredibly friendly and attentive (thank you, Kappi!). The two young chefs were warm and caring, always asking how my injury was doing. We absolutely loved the hotel and couldn’t have made a better choice for our honeymoon. Read less

The variety of the food and the friendly employees. Very friendly medical service. The other „special“ food events, like dinner on the beach which costs extra money gets promoted very frequently. It is very cool that 2 trips (sunset and dolphin trip) are free. Overall a great hotel/island with fantastic personal.

Had a good relief by means of whole body massage. The experience was fantastic. The ambience is set very nicely. Cordial staff members. My wife had back , shoulder, leg and foot massage. She too experienced the same .The music set in the background was perfect. Our body too got relaxed in this lovely island.

We recently returned from a 2 week stay at Adaaran Select, Meedhupparu, the final 4 days in a Prestige Water Villa (separate review on that). We were in Villa 164, far on the West of the North side of the island. We thought definitely the best location of villas in the island. Our villa was maintained for the first few days by Abu Hassan who was great. Unfortunately he left us and was reassigned to working in reception area. We were disappointed to see him go and missed his great work and happy demeanour. Food on the island was generally good. The main dining is a buffet affair, always good and tasty food. Also a buffet at the Suffara Indian restaurant which serves good quality local food. We felt the best evening meal (other than water villa restaurant) was in Thavaa (pronounced Tawa) where superb waiter served Mediterranean food is excellently presented in a great setting. Lunch.... served in main dining area but we went to Cafe Mass for fresh fish, burgers, wraps, salads and more. Thanks Hari and the team. Snorkeling was good - best North side of the island around the pier and water villas where there's an abundance of fish, small sharks and occasional 🐢. Also some lovely corals.... Take a walk at night along the south-side pier to the end. Take a torch(there will be one in your villa but if you've a strong one then do take it) and keep an eye out for the bigger sharks and rays after dark. Some 6ft plus length. Unsung heroes are the security guards on the pier who will walk with you to spot the sharks. Many thanks to all the guys who were patient to show us the wildlife. Albino Bar serves some lovely cocktails (was our evening after dinner drinks bar) and amusing to watch the sand crabs making themselves busy. And do visit Rumesh and the team at The Sunset Bar who are full of info and help with anything you wish for. Go to Adaaran Select Meedhupparu. Get into the groove. Chill out and enjoy it. Read less
