One of the best experiences we've had at Disney!

Went to the Amare restaurant at the Swan Reserve. What an incredible experience! Some of the best food we've ever had in Disney property. Robert , our server, was INCREDIBLE! His recommendations for food and drink were amazing! Can't wait to come back!

Second trip as great as the first.

We stayed at the Swan Reserve in March and had such a good time, we rebooked for May. I was a bit nervous as it was Memorial Day week and I wasn't sure if the stay would be as great as the first time. I didn't need to worry, it was. In March, we had a small issue, and the Manager Kerry Davis handled it like a Pro. How Management deals with situations outside their control matters greatly, and this hotel knows what to do. The workers were all helpful and friendly. Every person we spoke to was next level great. Resort view rooms are worth the upgrade. We had amazing views of both Disney and Epcot fireworks. Shower was fine with good water pressure. Bedding clean and crisp. Bed a bit on the hard side but still had a good night sleep. For this trip, we tried the morning breakfast buffet and it was so good, we did it the next morning as well. Our server was great. When he saw I wasn't eating the eggs, he asked me if I liked them harder cooked. I laughed, said yes and here he comes with perfectly cooked to my liking eggs. My husband likes them soft and fluffy so he was happy with the ones on the breakfast bar. If you like Biscuits and Gravy, this is your place. They were exceptional. Room service was fast, the food was great and the temperature was fine. Hot foods were hot, the salad was nice and cold. Like others have said, quick easy walk to the Swan/Dolphin and Epcot. The whole walk to Hollywood Studios is bunk. Maybe if you're 20 yrs old and exercise is your thing, but normal people will wish they were on the boat that passes you by as you're dying in the heat. This was my first time staying at the Swan Reserve. I loved the location of being walking distance to Epcot! Also, having the friendship boats was a great mode of transportation. I loved the view from my room, but didn't like that my room was handicapped. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The pros definitely outweighed the few cons that I had. I feel if I had a regular room, I would've liked this hotel even better. Also, I know this is a Marriott, but since this is on Disney property, it would be nice if there were more Disney touches throughout. Pros: -Very clean room -Decorated beautifully -View of Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom was beautiful! -loved the amenities in the bathroom -Beds were SOOO comfy! I slept so good after my long Disney days. -easy to get to Swan and Dolphin resorts (I didn't go in those resorts, but liked how close they were) -walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios -walking distance to Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. -Waters provided -When I got my Lyft, the bellhop opened my door for me and helped put the luggage in the car. I usually stay at All Stars so not used to this and it was really nice! -All the staff were very helpful, kind and had great customer service. -I found a button that allowed me to open and close the curtains. Super nice and I loved that they kept the light out! Cons: - I had a handicapped room and the closet was really short. I didn't hang anything up because my dresses would've dragged the floor. -The shower was super tiny because of being a handicapped room and also only had a handheld shower head. If I was much taller (I am 5'8") I would've had to hold the handheld the whole time which I don't like doing. -Buses at the Swan Reserve were very limited and took forever to come. Also, when the Swan Reserve buses did come, they literally pulled up, signed a paper and left if no one was there. I also had a bus for Animal Kingdom not stop for me when I was there. I would suggest just walking to Yacht Club or Boardwalk to catch a bus. -It seemed like the Grab n Go was never open when I was there. It would be nice if it was open later when the parks are open later. Read less

Privacy Concern at the Swan Reort

We were extremely dissatisfied with our recent stay. While my wife and I were asleep in our room, hotel security abruptly knocked and demanded immediate entry to inspect the smoke detector. I asked if they could return later, as I was not fully dressed. Despite this, they insisted on entering and proceeded to do so while I was still in my underwear, disregarding both our privacy and basic courtesy. We were left feeling humiliated, sitting half-dressed as contractors performed the inspection—an entirely preventable situation had we been given prior notice or even afforded a moment to properly prepare. To make matters worse, when I called the security desk to raise my concerns, I was placed on hold and ultimately disconnected. I had to call back a second time and specifically request to speak with a manager before anyone took the matter seriously. This incident reflects a concerning lack of respect for guest privacy, professionalism, and communication. I sincerely hope hotel management addresses these serious shortcomings and implements immediate changes to ensure no other guests are subjected to such an intrusive and disrespectful experience. We recently returned to the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. Having just stayed in March, it felt great to be back — and we were thrilled to receive a wonderful room upgrade. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was absolutely immaculate. This time, we tried both the in-room continental breakfast and the buffet at Amare — both were delicious and a great way to start the day. Looking out over EPCOT from our room at night, with the park beautifully lit up in the distance, made the stay feel truly magical. The hotel's proximity to the Disney parks is fantastic, and it’s a huge plus that it qualifies as a Disney Deluxe Resort, giving access to Extended Evening Hours and other valuable benefits. The only disappointment was that we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool on this trip — but that just gives us another reason to come back soon. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
