The hotel

A sure family favourite, Disney's Pop Century celebrates fads of the 1950's through to the 90s. There's something for everyone here - you'll love the themed pools, complete with water jets, and you can dine in a relaxed fashion at the food court. When the night rolls around, enjoy movies under the stars, or head to the games arcade for an evening of laughs before heading to your room. And when you're ready to hit the parks, hop on the Skyliner, a gondola that gives you amazing birds-eye views while taking you to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Hotel information

2880 rooms on 4 floors in 10 buildings with 3 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Standard Rooms offer views of the resort or parking areas, with either 1 king-size bed, or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Standard Pool View rooms overlook either the Bowling Pool or the Computer pool, with either 1 king-size bed, or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Preferred Rooms are located closer to the Classic Hall, dining, shopping and transportation, and feature views of the courtyard or landscaping. with either 1 king-size bed or 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size table bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Preferred Pool View Rooms are the same as above, but overlook the Hippy Dippy pool.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: This hotel has Disney Skyliner Transportation to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and bus transportation throughout the resort.

Wow, what a great resort for all. I was solo and felt completely safe, secure, and comfortable staying here. It's big! I stayed in the 90s area, which was a fair distance from everything. Wow, what a great resort for all. I was solo and felt completely safe, secure, and comfortable staying here. It's big! I stayed in the 90s area, which was a fair distance from everything. However, if you take the car park path, this shortens the walk to the transportation and dining area. Speaking of which was great, a decent choice of foods with the expected but also with more nutrient options such as roast chicken or salmon and vegetables. The pricing was reasonable, and everything tasted great. The rooms are a great size and design, and the only noise on the 1st floor was the toilet being flushed, which was not disruptive. The storage is also great, especially in the bathroom area. A separate partition for this area and the toilet made this a great room for friends to stay. A cooler is in the room, which can be turned up to keep drinks and, in my case, leftovers cold. The skyliner is the extra bonus, and I loved this addition. We were in 90s block and it was furtherest from the main building. Its OK if you drive and use the parking but after 12 hours of travel it's a long walk with suitcases. Ended up… Read more

Ended up cutting through car park for short cut on a daily basis. Improvements do need to be made adding soda fountains to other pools. Also add a walk way through the 90s car park it would help tired travellers and parents. I will return Read less

You really don't spend much time at the hotel (unless you are not doing back-to-back visits to the parks) so we did not really used the facilities. However, is convenient to have the food court available when you return starving and tired from your park day. Rooms are pretty small, though. Read less
