Just a quick, complimentary shuttle bus ride away from all three Universal Orlando theme parks. Transfer time from airport: 20 minutes.

Hotel information

750 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, 43" flat-screen TV, telephone, alarm clock, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary WiFi access.

Standard Rooms feature 2 queen-size beds sleeping maximum 4 persons.


Guests staying less than seven nights will receive a light housekeeping refresh daily. For those staying longer than seven nights, a full-service cleaning will be provided on the seventh day, with a light housekeeping refresh offered on all other days as mentioned above.

Pool View rooms have 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 persons. 

2-Bedroom Suites feature a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and picnic-style dining table. The first bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds, and the second has 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 persons.

Complimentary transportation to all 3 theme parks and Universal CityWalk. Self-parking $26 plus tax, per night (payable locally, subject to change).

Amazing location , Rooms big and Airy we had a 1 bedroom apartment, Buses every 10 minutes to all Universal parks, Staff super friendly , Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. A handy restaurant onsite good food , Starbucks great too I hop across road for great breakfast and 24 hour supermarket opposite

Check in was quick and easy and staff member Thomas went over and above to ensure we were provided with all the information we could require. We checked in early, stored our luggage and headed to the parks for early entry. We received a text earlier than expected to advise our room was ready. Clean room, comfortable beds and great amenities. The pool was lovely, clean, quiet, remained a suitable depth, floatation vests available and we all enjoyed hearing the music whilst swimming under water. Shuttles to parks were frequent. Starbucks in foyer. Easy access to international drive. Absolutely fantastic hotel and would stay again in a heart beat. Read less

Surfside suites and rooms was brilliant. Great location. Access to shuttles and early admission to the parks was amazing. The room was lovely the only downside I can find was the room felt like it was never swept the whole time we were there 14 nights. Although house service did come in every day the floor was covered in bits and rather quite sticky underfoot meaning you had to wear shoes all the time. Hubby said next time we would probably bring a dustpan and brush and some clothes and floor cleaner. Read less

I also used the gym which was clean, well-equipped, had good aircon & a water machine. Would definitely stay here again. The icing on the cake was that the hotel not only facilitated bus transport & early access to the parks (check universal app for which rides are open early) but also enabled us to purchase tickets to the new epic park a month before it officially opens- we were so chuffed! Overall I'd rate this hotel a 3٫5. Positives - The rooms were mostly very clean with clean bedding, and the room was serviced each day with beds made and towels replaced. Overall I'd rate this hotel a 3٫5. Positives - The rooms were mostly very clean with clean bedding, and the room was serviced each day with beds made and towels replaced. The hotel is very conveniently located for the Universal parks and the shuttle bus is great - it runs regularly from just outside the hotel and is quick and air-conditioned. The pizza we tried from the restaurant was really nice. Being able to use the room keys in the park for our lockers was also great. Didn't use the pool but the pool area looked nice. Negatives - Sound proofing in the room isn't great. You can hear everyone that walks along the corridor and also noises like coughs and hairdryers being used through the walls. We were told when we checked in that we'd receive a WhatsApp message when we arrived in our room with dining details etc that we could reply to directly if we needed anything, but we never received this. The Starbucks in the hotel is convenient but very expensive. Extortionate parking charges each day ($26 a day) whereas the Disney parks don't charge any parking charges for hotel guests. The main negative experience though was at checkout. The woman on the desk (I think her name was Karla) was really unfriendly to the point of rudeness. No questions around whether we enjoyed our stay or even a simple smile, no thank you for staying, and when we asked a question around parking we were bluntly told that parking costs don't cover checkout day, so if you're planning to visit one of the parks that day know that you need to factor this in. One of the main reasons we chose to stay in a Universal hotel was for the early park entry, however this is actually only for Islands of Adventure and only for Hagrid's Motorbike Ride or Velocicoaster, so knowing this now we probably wouldn't have made the same choice. Overall this hotel was clean and convenient for a short stay. Read less
