A short water taxi or shuttle ride from all three theme parks and Universal CityWalk entertainment complex. Transfer time from Orlando International Airport: 20 minutes.

Hotel information

1000 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, 49" flat screen TV, mini-fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, and iron and board.

Standard Rooms are 321 sq ft have 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Housekeeping is provided daily.

Lagoon View Rooms are 321 sq ft, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Pool View Rooms are 321 sq ft and have views of the pool, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

King Suites are 595 sq ft and have a separate living room, with 1 king-size bed and pull-out sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 

Kids Suites are larger family suites at 529 sq ft, featuring two separate bedrooms. With 1 king-size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Please note: all rooms can have an additional rollaway bed, sleeping a 3rd child. Rollaway beds are at an additional cost, payable locally. 

A short water taxi or shuttle ride from all three theme parks and Universal CityWalk entertainment complex. Self-parking $36, valet parking $45, both plus tax, per day (payable locally, subject to change). Visitors with an Electric Vehicle (EV) or a Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) who use valet parking can now take advantage of a complimentary "electric fill-up" at no extra charge.

Paid well over £4K for one week including flights. Bell service was blind to us. We got off our 1٫5 hour transfer from Melbourne airport after an 8 hour flight. Paid well over £4K for one week including flights. Bell service was blind to us. We got off our 1٫5 hour transfer from Melbourne airport after an 8 hour flight. Bell service lads were out front talking amongst themselves. We had our cases but must of been invisible as no one even acknowledged us, this is something I have read before. Checked in at reception. Pretty standard. Guy didn’t give us any big ol American smile and didn’t tell us anything about the hotel or facilities. Instead asked if there was anything we wanted to know! How can you answer this if you are new there? So got our room keys and took ourselves to our room. Still no offer of help with baggage. But on the up side it saved us one of many many tips we ended up coughing up during our stay here. I mean the tipping culture is crazy here. In the pool area 18% is automatically added and still you are presented with a chitty to sign in case you want to make it more. This is the case even if you go to the bar and get your own drink. Pouring a beer and putting it down in front of you is obviously deemed as a big service gesture here. Ok you are entitled to ask them to remove the tip from the bill if you want. But no one would do that. That’s why it works. Don’t get me wrong I will always happily tip good service. But not any service. The USA is terrible for this. A corporation like Universal should pay thier staff enough so they don’t have to rely on customers who have already paid a premium price for a premium experience. It just makes the experience feel a bit cheap. Saying this. Most of the staff are lovely especially Star in reception who was by far the most helpful and the others should take her example. Sorry from that it was what you would expect from a decent hotel. Bar and food prices absolutely eye watering but you are a captive audience so have no choice unless you have transport to get out and about. Lovely weather and loved the theme parks. Read less

The hotel staff were helpful with arranging taxis to restaurants. Outdoor poor has small slide and a pool bar. A good choice for families. Read less

Every single staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, café staff, or ferry attendants, everyone went above and beyond. It felt like luxury with a personal touch. The decor and atmosphere are absolutely stunning—like stepping into a tropical paradise. Every corner of the resort is designed to transport you, and it does just that. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—we slept like royalty every night. The food? Incredible. Whether grabbing a coffee at the café or dining at the restaurant, every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The hotel had a quick service cafe that was fantastic … had various hot food options like breakfast burritos in the am and hot pizza at night. Also had ice cream and lots of snacks and junk food lol. Great coffee. We ate at the rum bar and had tapas & drinks too. Our room was nice sized and the entry was enough room to fit a double bob. We liked the pool a lot.. big shallow area plus a slide, splash pad and hot tub. They had movies on at the pool each night. We had a pool day planned and went across the street to cabanas for the pools and lazy river. They had a lot of food options, including a food court but the food was lower quality - pre-prepared stuff, it was ok just not great. They didn’t seem to have pool seat drink service and the drinks at the bar were not as good as sapphire in our opinion. The lazy river was fun. Brought our own little Floats as theirs are $$$. The pool and lazy river was heated but the lazy river was full of plant leaves, flowers, pollen etc. Tons of life guards tho. We rented from kingdom strollers and that was so convenient because they will leave it with the luggage staff for pick up and drop off. We took the bus to Epic on Saturday. A bit difficult to load the stroller compared to water taxi but was fine. We did Epic preview before it fully opened. The lines for the rides were long and they did frequently close down. It’s a great park though with some of the coolest rides I’ve ever done. Read less
