The hotel

A superb hotel in a convenient location, the Hilton Miami Airport overlooks a natural lagoon teeming with tropical birds with a convenient airport shuttle on hand to whizz you back and forth from the terminal. Downtown Miami’s sparkling skyline can be seen on the horizon and there are plenty of attractions close by, including the Dolphin Mall and the International University Stadium, home of the Golden Panthers! Guests can enjoy a spot of sunbathing in and around the large heated swimming pool. There’s also a a fitness centre for enthusiasts, plus tennis courts for even more activity. This is a beautiful hotel, with all the amenities anyone might need. We stayed there for two nights before a cruise. Hotel shuttle from airport was good; Uber to the mall nearby for last minute items, pedicure and Cuban lunch. The pool area, although we didn't use it, was beautiful. Full restaurant and coffee spot.

Unacceptable. I reserved a stay at this hotel months in advance for a family cruise. When we arrived at the airport the shuttle service was down one driver. About 20 of us were stuffed into a 15 passenger van. My husband sat in the front seat holding someone else's baby seat! Unacceptable. I reserved a stay at this hotel months in advance for a family cruise. When we arrived at the airport the shuttle service was down one driver. About 20 of us were stuffed into a 15 passenger van. My husband sat in the front seat holding someone else's baby seat! Then on the return trip I asked for early check-in and was assured it was available, but would be a $70 early check-in fee. I agreed to pay the fee and was told to check-in at the front desk when I arrived. When I checked in I was told there wasn't any availability! My family and I had to sit in the lobby from 1000am until 4pm! Terrible shuttle and hotel service. Avoid at all cost! Read less

We’ve stayed here before with no issues. This time we found a couple of cockroaches crawling up the mattress around 10 pm. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ went to rhe front desk and asked for another room. We got a new room but they did not offer any compensation for our displacement or dealing with the bugs. The next morning we asked to be compensated and were… Read more

Its so dirty, there is one sort of restaurant to get bar food, there is mold everywhere, in regards to their in room dining their pizza oven was "out of service", the furniture and doors are in terrible shape, the bedding is AWFUL, the rugs make you feel like you are picking up all sort of… Read more

Its so dirty, there is one sort of restaurant to get bar food, there is mold everywhere, in regards to their in room dining their pizza oven was "out of service", the furniture and doors are in terrible shape, the bedding is AWFUL, the rugs make you feel like you are picking up all sort of diseases by touching it and all night you get to listen the sound of massive jet planes taking off at the Miami airport. This is a typical Hilton: mediocre rooms, mediocre food, mediocre service, way overpriced. Beyond that, they did not honor the reservation and would not let us check in until we paid them an extra $40. I would not stay here again. There are many other hotels closer to Miami airport that provide the same or better service at lower prices.
