My husband booked 2 night stay booking a king bed marina view. Arrived 330. Tried early check-in. Room not ready. No problem. Walked hotel and had 2 standard margaritas and sat outside. My husband booked 2 night stay booking a king bed marina view. Arrived 330. Tried early check-in. Room not ready. No problem. Walked hotel and had 2 standard margaritas and sat outside. Hotel was compact, I noticed both hammock holders were empty and these enormous crescent shaped holders never had hammocks in them our stay. Went to check in at 430. Our room was not ready and we were informed it probaly would not be until 6. It was a long day of travel. We were hungry and needed to change. 2 hours after posted check in time seemed a bit long. Also there were additional resort fees that could not be explained to us. Checking in was just a general bad start. As we walked away he said let me see what I can do. He tried to give a double. I said we would wait for the king and he found us a room on the third floor. It was at the back end of hall and the view was okay. A bit obstructed viiew and i had to think original room probaly had better views. Bed was comfortable, corners of shower looked dirty and the room had a slight mildew smell upon entering. The AC was very loud. We decided we would spend most of our stay out and about as the hotel was smaller then expected, the pool water smelled funny and we were disappointed for what we ended paying.
