Great beach but overpriced rooms

The beach is amazing but the rooms are overpriced. We loved the beach here and the staff on the beach is amazing but it's not worth the price. This hotel has the worst pillow of any hotel I've stayed at. While we enjoy it here it's not worth the price.
Disgusting Hotel

Place is filty.... do not stay here; asked for housekeeping to dust the room and was told flat-out 'No" may think this is a perfect location for visiting Napa but there are so many nice bed and breakfast hotels that far and exceed this location. Do yourself a service and stay elsewhere

We absolutely loved our family vacation to Marco Island! We had a wonderful time staying at our favorite spot, The JW Marriott. It was lovely to stay during Thanksgiving and to spend some time regrouping as a family. The highlight of our trip was a photo session with the incredible "The Photography Concierge." We now have photos of our trip to last a lifetime!! It was wonderful to work with Macarena, who took exceptional care and consideration while working with us and our young children. Our photos came out phenomenal! We will cherish them for life. Thank you to the whole TPC team for all your help!! Read less
Extremely disappointed — not worth the price or the hype.

I was looking forward to the “exclusive” Serene check-in experience, but it was underwhelming at best. You simply walk through the main lobby to a door where someone is sitting. Yes, they offer a beer or sparkling water, but that’s about it — nothing close to the elevated, luxury experience they advertise. For nearly $2000 per night, it was absolutely not worth it. • Our room was nice, but had no minibar. • The “exclusive” amenities and services they claim do not exist in practice. • You’re given a number to text for assistance, but no one responds. • The adults-only pool was closed for a private event. • The “private” restaurant was also closed. • When we needed anything, we had to go to the main lobby with all other guests — the exclusive area was unavailable. • Children were screaming throughout the property — this was definitely not a serene or peaceful atmosphere. • The Serene staff recommended a beach restaurant as part of the experience — it was closed and under construction. • The exclusive beach area was unprepared: torn umbrellas, no setup, and no water provided — in hot weather. Meanwhile, the regular side of the beach was fully set up. • Complimentary breakfast was fine, but they still charged for a cappuccino — really? This felt like a standard, crowded resort with a marketing gloss — not a true luxury escape. I expected much more for the price point. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others looking for a premium experience. Read less
