We arrived very early at the hotel after an overnight flight and were delighted that they gave our room immediately. The room (junior suite) is large with a good kitchen area and balcony with a small tablets two chairs. The bathroom is spacious with good amenities. The dressing gowns looked brand new. We loved the byredo brand of shower gel etc that the hotel provided....smells like a spa. The bed was comfortable. Whilst I agree that the rooms probably need repainting, overall we were happy with the room size, comfortable and amenities. The coffee shop is great as is the pool bar where we had great food and cocktails. The pool staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurants are simply fabulous. A special thanks to Arthur for the bottle of bubbly in our room for our celebration. Thankyou so much for a great stay. Read less

Recently stayed here for just about a week. Overall, the experience was good. That said, the hotel is showing its age and there are clear lacks in observation by management. The little things matter…holes in towels at the pool are unacceptable and should be taken out of service. Similarly the pool has many broken umbrellas and loungers, take these out of service as well and replace them. On the good side, staff were generally fantastic. The pools attendants and maid service were spot on. Front desk was hit or miss and when asking for a late checkout as a gold member we were given a whopping hour. I wouldn’t care so much, but this property doesn’t have showers in the pool area bathrooms, so on flight days who wants get on a plane covered in sunscreen….sorry not me. This is where the most frustrating part came in to play. It was suggested we check with the spa and that we should be able to use their showers. Well NO thank you at $65 per person to use a shower…I’m sorry that is highway robbery and did leave a sour taste in our mouth. Other positives not to leave this review on a bad note…the restaurants Takato, Vitolo, and the food at the pool were all fantastic! I’m not saying I wouldn’t go back, but there are other options and I would probably look before booking again. Read less

I like everything about the hotel mainly the valet boy ANDRES and the housekeeper. The localization excellent. Service is good. Value fair if you consider the place. Cleanliness one of the best points. Rooms very big with kitchen very good.

The suites are stunning. There's so much space, the decor is beautiful, one of the most lovely bathrooms with a huge jacuzzi tub. The balcony space was incredible. The beds, fantastic, it was just so spacious. The pool area is just superb. The staff were so attentive, the pool deck was great, clean, and the hot tub was wonderful. We absolutely loved the location it was quiet, safe, tons to do and easy to get around. Also, Takata was hands down the most phenomenal restaurant and we're from New York. I cannot recommend this hotel more! Absoutely outstanding. We can't wait to go back! Read less

They have good coffee shop thankfully. Was there for 4 days for a work meeting. The staff is so nice! One person who so nice - during our meeting was a gentleman from Cuba name Francisco. SO nice! He helped with the food service all three days. Because he was so nice, and I am from Florida, we talked. He was great to me colleagues. Also, a gentleman originally from Puerto Rico. He too was nice. Great hotel and recommended to my company to return here again in the the future. A++ Read less
