518 rooms and suites are spread throughout the Bhuri Wing and Thani Wing. The Bhuri Wing is home to the 183 Deluxe Rooms and has its own lobby and pools. The Thani Wing is situated along the beachfront and all suites are in this wing and face towards the ocean. Deluxe Rooms are located in the Bhuri Wing and have a private balcony overlooking the pool with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The garden massages included in our package were ok but they felt more like a back rub from a friend. Also there was no privacy at all with people walking past, and no relaxing with children playing, cocktails being made in a blender which are normal holiday sounds just not what I was expecting when being massaged. We had a minor issue with our room and when I bought it to the attention of the staff we were immediately told they would change rooms for us, no fuss no bother just heaps of smiles. In particular, I would like to give a huge shout out to Denis from guest relations team who went out of his way to assist us, gave us a free cocktail and meal to make up for any inconvenience, what a champion. First time travellers to Phuket. Good first impressions on arrival (Ping Pong escorted us to our room) however when entering our room we did notice a damp smell. The floor and linen also had a wet feel to it. We put this down to a humid climate and didn't feel the need to request a room change. It wasn't until the day of check out that I noticed that my tote bag that I use as carry on for travelling purposes was showing signs of being mould affected. When mentioning this to staff at reception I was advised that I should have mentioned the concerns about my bag earlier. Unfortunately I wasn't aware as I had not used the bag during our stay. Staff appeared to be unsympathetic which was frustrating offering minimal compensation for a expensive bag that was now unuseable. Despite this incident my family and I enjoyed our stay. The resort facilities are great and room attendents were very accomodating. There are alot of other restaurant options available across the road providing different dining options and having access to the beach was a plus. Having spent a week in Phuket and day tripping we appreciated the location of Katathani as there were alot of tourists in other areas of the island. Read less

This was our second trip to this fantastic resort. The Pool Access room is just beautiful and the staff are perfect. Such an huge variety of international cuisine available at 6 restaurants. Already booked for same time next year. It really is a home away from home for us.

Taxi service out the front of reception and local tuktuks 5 minute walk away. Room service available for food or there are 4-5 restaurants you can choose from. We are at two of them and easily charged it to the room, great food and great value. 7/11 shop next door for essentials and some nice restaurants along the street attached. When I return to Thailand 🇹🇭 I would definitely come here rooms l lovely, we arranged for James Bond toor pick up and drop off from the hotel. Thanks to all the staff that made our trip memorable.
