I cannot fault this hotel and would 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a peaceful (with excursions) trip, it ticked all of our boxes! Read less

The staff were genuinely some of the warmest and most attentive I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world. We had a lovely villa room with our own lap pool and it was nice to spend the afternoon there after enjoying the private beach in the morning. There were two restaurants, one that served Thai and Western foods and an Italian restaurant. A real standout was the incredible breakfast buffet. It was filled with a variety of Thai and Western breakfast items, including made-to-order eggs and avocado toast. The food was consistently delicious and the beach views, day or night were incredible. The beautiful grounds of the resort are meticulously cared for. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 25 years of marriage together in this beautiful paradise. Read less

We had an amazing experience at The tubkaek boutique hotel. First of all, the staff here are all heartwarming and cheerful with some smiles. You can tell how they are trying to make you happy. Esp. Benz taking care of us from the moment we stepped in, Hanah serving us for a romantic dinner on the beach. Secondly, the room is very clean, full of Thai atmosphere. Its not a high-tech modern room but that was not what we were looking for from the hidden tropical nature. The bed was comfortable and we had a very deep sleep everyday. Thirdly, the location is fantastic! We had a private pool, yet the main pool, private beach were quiet and calming, a great escape from the urban life. Also, though Its a bit costly, the food here is stunning too. We also had a romantic dinner on the beach- that was the best experience-. SPA service, island hopping, picnic on the beach... all of them became unforgettable memories, and my partner and I were incredibly delighted and would like to visit again for the anniversary! This hotel is value for money. Guaranteed! Read less

We arrived at Tubkaak and were immediately blown away by the view. Stunning! The staff are lovely, the restaurants exceptional- some of the best food we’ve had in Thailand! We arrived at Tubkaak and were immediately blown away by the view. Stunning! The staff are lovely, the restaurants exceptional- some of the best food we’ve had in Thailand! The room was fine- it was a little dark for us, and quite squashed in. We had a pool, which was nice, but it was long and narrow, and we didn’t use it much. The main pool was quite nice. We did a half- day trip through the hotel to Koh Haa. Luckily we left early and had about half an hour in Koh Haa before the masses arrived. This half hour was stunning, but it very quickly went from absolute paradise to the complete opposite of paradise! The trip wasn’t for us. Everywhere was too busy, and the snorkelling underwhelming (not clear sea/ no coral/ hardly any fish) & actually just pointless. It was the only “tourist trip” we did in Thailand, so maybe this is just the reality now. The beach at Tubkaak is stunning, although doesn’t have the clear sea, it is quiet! The reason I have given the hotel 4*, instead of 5* is the airport transfer. Every other 5* hotel we stayed in, offered free transfers to the airport. Tubkaak however charged up £50. The trip is less than an hour, and if you go across the road you can get the same journey for about £15 (unfortunately we left early and the taxi rank wasn’t manned!) The hotel we stayed in previously charged us £50 for a 3٫5 hour door-to-door transfer directly to Tubkaak (we could have got a free transfer if we were going to the airport). Tgis was not a good finish to our holiday, and we felt completely ripped off. All & all, a lovely hotel, but organise your own transfer! Read less

Myself, partner and 11 year old son have just returned from a two week holiday in Krabi, staying at the Tubkaak resort. I can not rate this resort high enough. This is our 3rd visit to Thailand and we decided to stay in one location this time and visit islands and many of the local attractions from the resort and it worked really well. The one thing that makes this resort stand out from many others, are the staff and how incredibly friendly and helpful they are. We were made to feel like Royalty for the minute we arrived. The location is stunning and after visiting local beaches in the area, we realised that this one was bar far the nicest. We initially stayed in a deluxe room over looking the pool and then upgraded to a pool room for the last 5 nights. The pool rooms are so worth the upgrade and made our holiday. Spacious, well thought out and unbelievably clean! There are Taxi's directly outside the hotel on the road and this made everywhere really accessible. There are long tail boats on the beach to do a few of main excursions. You will pay a little more from this beach but it does make it easy. We regularly got a taxi to Ao Nang and a Tuk Tuk back. Don't be put off my the remoteness of the resort as its well worth being a little bit away from things to experience the tranquility of area and have have easy access to all attractions. Love love love this place and all the staff and we've promised to return next year. From Simon, Claire and Tommy Read less
