We had pool access rooms with a nice lagoon and water slides, which was fantastic entertainment for children. The resort has good eating options, great food, a children's play area, and massage facilities. However, there are a lot of areas of improvement - 1. The hotel is in dire need for upgrade - we had door handles falling off, bathrooms getting flooded and smelly, and bathroom fittings rusted. 2. The front desk staff were unhelpful, rude and inhospitable. Service Mindset was missing from all staff members including housekeeping and restaurant. 3. Breakfast was below average both in terms of taste, variety and service. The breakfast area was extremely crowded with not enough room to cater to resort capacity. Read less

This hotel is ok but first impressions are important. The reception staff on arrival were appalling, kept us waiting over 4 hours to get into our room, despite promises to make available as soon as possible. They forgot about us and No apologies forthcoming. Breakfast is average, bar service mediocre, the Spa however is very good and surprisingly cheap. After our early treatment by reception, we decided to spend as little money as possible in this hotel. Happy hour is false advertising, selected drinks only. The Last Fisherman’s bar next to the beach bar is very good. Better service and cheaper, only 20 yards away. Beware false advertising in most places. We did a 4 island speed boat trip, advertised as max 6 people, we had 23 on our boat! It also included an island we had already visited which was not on the itinerary. If you want to go into town, head to the beach and turn right, it’s a 5 minute walk. Ask at reception and they’ll send you on a 15 minute hike around the roads. Ao Nang high street is best described as tacky, restaurants, bars, massage, money exchange (cash only), tattoo, Cannabis shops, and cheap goods shops. We visited in early May, we had thunderstorms and rain most day. It was the worst holiday we’ve ever had given the travel time. Not worth a visit! We flew with Thai airlines who were excellent.
